I just picked up my 2022 Eclipse SEL, this car is awesome, I was a bit concerned about the 1.5 engine pick-up and handling. But turned out that the turbo makes up for the short fall of this size engine. Good Job Mitsubishi👏

Mitsubishi quietly selling 150K cars a year in US for decades now. Very underrated. I bought a 2006 Lancer and that dealer never saw me again; never any reason to go back. Sold the car in 2013 to my babysitter with 90K miles and all I had to do was replace the brake pads in that time. Watch a video on how these are made; pure Japanese build quality perfection that would make a Hyundai or Kia look like, well a Hyundai or Kia by comparison. RAV4 in trouble....

I wish they would of kept the rear light bar going all the way across. I have a 2018 and it makes the car look so much more unique. I do love the new front end of the Cross though.

@@kmckenzie2461 Those SEL touring are very nice, so many features on them. I have an SE, which is still nice. My favorite feature is the power folding-in mirrors, not to many cars have those unless they are very high end luxury cars.

I wish they'd have called it something else and not eclipse lol Solid vehicle for the price! If i had a kid in high school, I'd get this for them, not too too fast, basic infotainment wont be too distracting, lots of room in the boot for their sports stuff and they can go to the grocery store for me LOL

Outlander sport is bigger. But honestly I'm confused as well because they basically compete with each other. 🤔🤷 Not sure what mitsubishi is thinking. There's no reason to get the outlander sport and vise versa. The size difference is minimal if any. Suppose it comes down to what styling someone prefers.

Outlander sport is smaller(small suv).Eclipse cross is biger(mid size suv) with the redesign and Outlander is biger (. Not full size but biger then the last gen)

Just beware with Mitsubishi Eclipse cross technical support. We have problem with Eclipse cross brake system since beginning, never been solve yet.

I have a 2020 red diamond it’s a great car however the paint may have 5 coats but it’s done with environmentally safe paint which chips easy any rock or pebble that kicks up off the road will chip your car it’s annoying

Mazda has chip issues too as does Hyundai and Kia. Our Buick got it's first paint chip. I agree it's the new environmentally safe paints and no vehicle seems free of them. :(

When purchasing the touring package for the SEL model, a cost of $2100 dollars it seems your stuck with having to also buy the extension pkg for an additional $995 dollars. It serves no purpose but looks. And it looks awful. I would much rather have dual exhausts for around the same price, they would add to the looks and purpose of the touring package.. Also next years model should have a power lift gate at this price. Overall I love the vehicle, gas mileage could be enhanced a little. The SEL looks best in white.

It looks good in any bright color such as the Royal blue or even bright orange, BUT for some reason not in black.
