Was waiting on the ‘23 Sam2 but there were delays, opted for the ‘22 for a better deal, and so glad I did now. Other than the 650wh battery va the 750wh the 22 model seems like a better bike. Rear wheel setting and mullet option, looks better and has imho the better rear shock design.

I've got one of last year's Jam2 & love it. I'm kind of underwhelmed by this new model. Maybe it's just me but it seems a lot chunkier in the bottom bracket/motor area, I guess, though, that's to accommodate the bigger battery.

@@adamsmythe4723 that seems to be the problem, especially here in Australia. Had a look at the fezurri emtb from the USA. Good spec and not overly expensive for a ebike. @garyrolley3559 Жыл бұрын
@@adamsmythe4723 that's why im looking at the altitude. It has 108Nm. I think that the ep8 and others with 85Nm are not pushing enough for me. I weigh 106kg and am 186cm,so not your average whippet. So 85Nm might not propel me up hill as well as in the ads. And our trails in Cairns are very steep and rough so i think, they would struggle. And the longer suspension of the altitude would be helpful.

@@plrooks Hi, I have a Cube Stereo Hybrid 160 HPC SL 27.5 750. It weighs 24.5kg and I ride it in ECO mode the majority of the time. In eco mode it feels like an enduro bike. I think having 27.5 wheels also helps with handling. It’s only when you turn the motor off that you notice the weight.

When the warranty runs out and battery fails, motor needs service, proprietary suspension bits can't be found, these will turn into yard art or you will end up buying it twice.
