BMW and Mercedes are really taking all the Germanness out of the interior styling these days. So gaudy and flashy. And it was bad enough when the "stuck-on" center screen became popularized, now the entire screen, including the gauge cluster, is a stuck-on screen. Previously, brands had to figure out creative and artistic ways of fitting the screens/gauges into the dashboard. Now they can just plop a screen on top of anything and call it a day. Not liking this direction at all.
