It’s tricolored because Ducati is an Italian based brand and if you know Italians they are proud of their products. The color scheme resembles the Italian national flag 🇮🇹. The number #1 also due to Jorge Martin winning the MotoGP championship on the Ducati…and to your point, their winning streak.

I agree with you, Ducati has gone crazy with these limited editions. These bikes are just for the collectors who want them to park next to there Italian supercars. If Ducati really want to release a limited edition these should be somewhat special like the Superleggera which is the pinnacle of engineering with carbon frame and swingarm.

Its a cool bike. the new swingarm is not bad, but the single sided swingarm is what really stood out on the old V4, very aggressive..

Price out the rims,front rotors and dry clutch ,rearsets ,seat , carbon guards ,gas cap,helmet and jacket ,cover and paint the bike has a lot of upgrades into it sure there are making a bit of extra money on it but not that much more.I got one ordered letsssss gooooo!!!!im stoked im going be riding it on Haleakala Maui Hawaii road is world class!!

No way In a Bazillion Years this bike is 2x more expensive than a ZX-10-RR with a full Akrop Titanium Exhaust/Flash, I love Ducati, I had many, including a V-4 Street Fighter, but I just couldn’t justify the extra cost over a ZX-10-RR, I’am -54 and prefer the Inline-4, that’s the engine that Iam comfortable with, the insane sound. Ducati is like Lighting $$$$ on Fire !!! The $10k exhaust was getting old real quick!!! I couldn’t be happier with my poor mans ZX-10-RR😂

they look nice, but it seems as Ducati is just going way too high on prices. The 24 V2 would have been my price limit, and the bike that replaces it, I have no interest in it. Same money a lot less hp

Glad you mentioned my bike, the 1299 S Anniversario which in my opinion is a better looking bike than many of the other bikes they have on their heritage website! They should have included it as well since it is a 500 motorcycles limited edition whereas the most of them there are not limited editions and some not even numbered! Seeing al those models that are numbered nowadays feels like lowering the brand's prestige and that they only care about making money!

It's beautiful but no way it holds value unless it sits in a crate/never ridden. Do the math - most things are 15-35% more than they were in 2018. Panigale V4S in 2018 MSRP at $27,995, in 2025 at $33,895 - 17.4% increase. 2018 V4 Speciale at $39,995 MSRP (I see them at $25K now), 2025 Tricolore at $58,000 - 31% increase. Not to justify this price, but within 15-35% inflation threshold. Sucks but that's one major reason why it's so expensive. Wait 5-6 years and find a slightly used at $36K or less ($25K adjusted for future inflation) probably with under tail exhaust. I'm sure it will sell out, there's enough people with money so I'm happy for them to eat the cost - I can wait for them to hopefully sell to me 😁.

Maybe I'm in the minority but when looking and evaluating motorcycles, I always consider value (bang for your buck) as one of the factors. While I personally think this is too expensive for what you're getting, it'll be interesting if you were to do a follow-up video a year out to see sales numbers because that will indicate the market's answer to the question.

Look like talked about before it might be faster but single swing arm the whole day the whole night it hopefully they will see what really a Ducati is and that’s a single swing arm. Too expensive just for the decals. Ok, it gets carbon wheels buat that's it nothing else. Engine is the same as V4s and V4 base. For the exhaust, at least we get Akra slip on. Maybe we should wait for all new V4R.
