Being a retired Firefighter I drove several of these. Great build

Love it! I've built the 1/25 scale a few times, I will have to get this one for sure! Thanks Chris, nice video.

Retired FF/Paramedic. Love these models even though i was always a Seagrave guy. Would love to see Ambulance and Medical Helicopter models
@hpiguyАй бұрын
OOO, a 1/72 Medical Heli would be a cool kit. Ambulances would sell like hot cakes to the 1/25 and 1/24 builders for sure. New and old.

Wonderful looking kit and great work building it as always, Very close to 100k subs which is just awesome

Cool kit! Ive never built one yet but might have to pick this one up!

Very cool. I admire your steady hand with those marker pens. I love that scale but so fidley.

I'd like to see a bigger model made that way

I remember when Trumpeter brought out the original 25th scale version of this model and if I'm not mistaken it was very costly; I wasn't aware they had redone it in a smaller scale. I kinda like that small scale now I'm seeing it built up because I can imagine all that intricate chassis detail on the bigger truck would take lots of time to work on if they are all individual pieces. Certainly not a model for beginners! Looking at the thumbnail I had no idea the actual kit was this small - it's very impressive and nice to see a modern day American fire truck.
@mikeotis8225Ай бұрын
Yes let’s have more modern fire trucks. I am currently building Trumpeter’s 1/25 scale ALF pumper. It’s a great kit. Great fit and details. I would love for Trumpeter to come out with another version with different markings.

I have done the 1/25 scale one and wishing they do more equipment like a ladder truck or a tower ladder

Chris, you are on the cusp of 100 k subs!!

I want 2 of them. Build one box stock, build the other as a heavy rescue rig using a rescue body off of EBAY.

Great kit to build...i'm building my second one and it will be pretty much the real replica of the one FDNY Engine #34 they receive right after the 9/11 tragedy...its need some little custom build on the back but i will get it...can't wait to be done
@chassegallerie2910Ай бұрын
So, you can put this on a diorama with your hotwheels, since HW are a tad bigger (normally between 1:58 to 1:80 scale). That's cool. Nice build.
@gbresalekingАй бұрын
I thought hotwheels were all 1/64
@chassegallerie2910Ай бұрын
@@gbresaleking Yeah. We all thought at one point or another. But if they did that, all cars would be really different in size from one another. But the goal is to make all cars more or less the same size, so they cheat like that. But there are true 1:64 scale cars out there, the makers normally write something like "true 1:64" on their cards.

At first I was thinking "what would you do with a 1/72 scale model", and then I realized that alot of airplanes are 1/72, could make a great airport display
@danielkemp4801Ай бұрын
Very nice kit. I have not built one in this scale. Do you think they will make an ambulance kit? Keep up the great work and have a great day.

Nice detail - especially for a 1/72 scale My only question? Where's the dog? Thanks, Chris, for this unique build

trumpeter does have a 1/24 scale of this as well. I've always wanted to build it but the size...
@bttfdmc1984Ай бұрын
A shame that American LaFrance went defunct in 2014. In 1/72 it looks like it might scale well with Greenlight collectables diecast vehicles and not look too out of place. Might have to get this but need to find someone that can make phoenix fire department decals.

$50+ for a tiny model kit. Getting disgusting. Remember the 1/25th scale kits which shouldn't even be $50.
