Biggractorpower, you’ve done it again. Top notch videos are the norm for you.. iv yet to view one of your vids that I haven’t liked. These big Case IH headers are the bees knees. I still run a 1644 to whip off our barley wheat, oats and triticale crops over here in Aus. After years slugging away with Massey Ferguson headers which give a beautiful sample but are pathetically slow, we went back to Inters and they are twice if not three times faster than the Massey’s. They are just so much better in every single feature of the whole concept. Our 1644 has only got around twenty five hundred hours on the clock and it’s still as in new condition. It was a credit to the previous owner. It’s only got a 25 foot bat reel front which is ideal for our cropping conditions. Lots of hills, gullies and uneven ground. The Case copes easily where the Massey found it HARD going. Again, thank you for another beaut vid. Waiting for the next one now.👍👍👍👍

What a stunning bit of kit, I really like this and thanks for uploading it. One genuine question, watching a lot of videos of USA combines they all seem to have the reel speed way to fast, what is the thinking behind that? The whole purpose of the reel is to gently pull the tops of the crop into the header, if you set it too fast you will get some grain loss so here in the UK we do not run the reel nowhere near as fast as say the one in this video????
@carterk1165 жыл бұрын

Hi BTP , another great vid , just wanted to know if the list price you mentioned for the 8250 of $526K ,is that with or without a header/front and if so is it the 40 ft like in the video, if not , how much was the 40ft header/front worth. ( i think i got the terminology right , what you guys in the US call a "combine" we in Australia call a "header" and you call the cutting deck the "header" while we call it a "front" ) Oh , and nice shot of the row crop Quad Track running the narrow tracks , Cheers.

Ok, here’s an opinion on the design. Lovely machine for sure, and Case is my favorite brand of farming equipment. But, Case needs to change the wheel colour. Standard silver makes it look cheap and underrated. Also, consider a special range in KTM orange. .. And a general observation to harvester designers, try and solve the waste material build up on the the center of the head. It looks sloppy from the cab! Otherwise, wheat farming is my favorite crop. 😎
