Who would build a real Coupé if nobody buys one? This is a freaking good looking EV and I like the touch of nostalgia that the name transports. Will buy one!

@thirolf talk is the next MX-5 will be electric and Toyota are looking at reviving the MR2. There's been rumours of Opel doing something too but we'll have to wait and see on that one.

​@@maxspooner63 At least regarding the Opel approach I can comment: It will be pretty much the same thing as the Capri - a pretty normal car with five doors, just a bit sleeker than the upcoming Grandland. For Mazda and Toyota: Let's see if they risk it after the Honda E disaster... I went for a Fiat 500 electric convertible as my fun car - not a Coupé but still beautiful and fun 🙂

So Ford thinks adding rear window signature and making one of the spokes on the steering wheel resemble sports wheels of old , show's they're being faithful to a low-set iconic Coupe....right !!!! This vehicle , as all ev's , will flop for sales imo , especially costing over 40K rising to 61k , for what ?

It's definitely a bold move by Ford, but the market will be the ultimate judge. We'll have to see how it all plays out!
