Wow, there goes all my money and time in March as I Speed Build film all those speed champion sets!!! Will be great to get a side by side comparison with the Older Mclaren & Aston Martin with the new models. My first impressions are these new cars are a bit more bulky and square than the older models, which feel a bit more sleek, though they are also mighty fragile and fall apart just looking at them! 😆

Not sure you could add them to the city but a diorama just for them could be the way to go, the story is it's located off the edge of the city pasted the track so you have to feature it on its own space.

the 10 cmf and 4+ cars look like go carts for a mini track (1-4 baseplate) you could add to the theme park. either contained next to the drop off, or as a ring around the theme park any real car track you were to add would take up the country/mountain areas though

I like this. Reminds me of the old style of canister lego sets (bionicle, herofactory) Recolours of similar builds. Kids will jsut get the colour they like, despite not knowing anything about the racers.

I've had a good look through the release photos, while the front looks to be mostly the same design, the rear of the cars are all different (as they are in real life). The official release notes do indicate different part counts in each set.

I don't think that they will include the real drivers with the SC line so the CMF should be real drivers in my opinion, it would be amazing to have all the drivers and all the cars

The reason why they made these is because of exclusivity due to bigger sets having minifigures.. Can't have the same minifigure at a cheaper cmf set

I think they are doubling down, and that some people might get a set of the CMF's, but no where near the popularity of other cmf series, and Amazon is going to have all 10 formula 1's in one set bundle with a poster. But the question is, will this sell? I'd rather them double down in castle, but I am not into the cars

Im really excited they are continuing the F1 icons theme for racers. I was more than contempt with Ayrton Senna's Mclaren as one of my favorite drivers but to now have Nigel Mansell as well is amazing! I genuinely hope Lego keeps this up for the next decade at least, theres plenty of drivers haha. And not just F1 either, Id love to see Nascar too!

Being a massive F1 fan, I love this. The CMC (collectible mini cars) look great and are a brilliant way of getting kids into F1. I'm not 100% on the speed champions as they will be very repetitive to build but Lego can have my money. I think a lot of fans will try and get 2 of each

I enjoy watching the F1 races but am not interested in the sets at all, it may be a girl thing for me. (I’m not being sexist I’m sure many females will be excited about them) I really don’t like the CMF cars. I adore the minifigs and would much prefer them.

The more i think about these the more brilliant they seem, especially at the different scales. Sports fans climb over dead relatives for collectables (as you well know Jordan from your family business). F1 doesn't really have something like hockey cards or jerseys to sell and these could REALLY fill a void for racing fans. The various age ranges allow them to serve the entire fan base. The fact that LEGO has been making vehicle sets forever aligns extremely well. They really could be onto something here
