While I got a lot of sets, and we still have a month to go, my top 10 are (in order I got the sets) - Shadow's Escape - Dune Atreides Royal Ornithopter - Dragon Stone Shrine - Forest Animals: Red Fox - Wolf Mask Shadow Dojo - Bumblebee - Source Dragon of Motion - Wild Safari Animals - Lord of the Rings: Barad-dur (My top set) - Imperial Star Destroyer The two sets that could make it into my top 10 for me are The Milano and the Great Deku Tree (2-in-1)

I only purchase LEGO SW sets but these other sets from other themes are awesome, really liked a lot of the sets LEGO put out this year! The suitcase is sick… I’d buy one in a second.

glad to see a top 10 list thats not just limited to expensive 18+ sets, pretty good spread here overall. city really surprised me this year with how good its lineup was this year so i was happy to see a couple sets get a shoutout here. some other highlights from this year imo that didn't get mentioned were the dnd set and cmf, the fortnite battle bus, shadow the hedgehog bike, modular natural history museum (up for debate whether it counts as a 2024 set but whatever), and the friends bed and breakfast (another theme that continues to hit it out of the park and get little recognition).

I solid! I'm sooooo a huge fan. I live in Quebec and I'm only 14 years old but since I'm 6 make lego my passion. I love your vids, seeing that you just posted a new video makes my day. I really agree with your list. I just got the battle pack for my birthday (and I want to purchase more of 'em) and I put the star destroyer in my Christmas wish list (Yeah I'm a huge Star Wars fan!). I have more than 60 Star Wars set in my collection. Lord of the rings is my second favorite movie saga and I dream to have Rivendell or Barad-Ur. I Wanted to know, if you had to choose between the two, which one would you take? Also, i just got into Dune (and might get the number 3 spot in my movie list) and the Ornithopter might be a more accessible set for me. I watched all your review and your Geonosis serie makes me want to start a moc of my own! I'm soooo excited for the finale! Your style of video and their clean look hit so hard! Seriously incredible suitcase. Definitely feels more adult than the ones at costco. The dungeons and Dragon's set and C.M.F's are my choice for set of the year.

To me the special gems are the classic castle stuff coming out recently so I think the town square is the best of 24, but over all the lions knight castle is the best set ever made, if one were to have only one set for a family that would be complete fun for all ages and sexes. together they are some great times and value

Suggestion…would love to see you do a ‘category’ based top 10…but to save time, maybe Top 5. Sub $100 $100-$200 Then $200+ Not sure how many sets you’ve built this year, but I’ve built maybe 100 sets. Star Wars, LOTR and cars are my thing for LEGO. I always look forward to your reviews before I make a purchase.

"cheaper Lego sets" don't exist. Your top 10 only has a lower average because an average is a very poor representation of a range of figures unless there are no outliers. The sets are great though. But they are anything but cheap, especially in Australia where our $ has gone from buying .82 USD to .65usd.

The Battle Bus takes the cake for me. I’ve wanted Lego Fortnite sets for six years, and it exceeded all of my expectations. And it’s funny to me that they solved the waist cape issue with a Fortnite minifigure; dual molded legs with side leg printing.

Im gonna admit it, I have primarily built star wars sets for the past 14 years, but this was the first year in a while I wasn't excited about the theme due to the sets being way overpriced. There are some exceptions such as the Tantive IV Hallway, Rebel vs Imperial Mega Battlepack, and the Invisible Hand (first time weve received a seperarist capital ship since the Malevolence) which were all knocked it out of the park. I even picked up a second copy of the hallway, which i rarely do for a non-battle pack. I feel the hallway shouldve been in the top 10. I also am excited to one day get the SLS rocket, but ive heard thats a very grueling build so im afraid to tackle it. This was a weird year where Lego Star Wars felt lacking in their offerings and other themes such as Ideas, City, Icons, and Creator created some of the best sets of all time.
