You are a big boss I can't stop laughing "sorry I'm busy here". And by the way Im not a fan of this Mercedes especially the rear, don't get me wrong but I'm a huge fan of Mercedes-Benz but this car is ugly, I like the previous one better. I'm very afraid that they do the same thing with the C and E-Class. I don't know who is making such ugly idea for making the rear so UGLY. I hope Mercedes-Benz is going to hire a better designer because on my opinion this is ugly.

I suppose this is why Benz picked CES, It's a tech savvy car, for tech savvy people. That MBUX is benchmark level stuff, MB Siri, biometric smartwatch integration etc. etc. But for car savvy people it's a bit of a head scratcher, Maybe one could say there was enough of a distinction between the A class and CLA a generation ago to consider, but the A class (maybe accidentally) is just too good now. This guys reviews are always very good, only negative is he stated he was 6'1 and claimed that there wasn't much head room left, I went for a test drive yesterday as I was really worried being 6'3... the new CLA shocked me with how spacious it is and easy it was to climb in and out of. my friend sat behind me for the test drive to see how practical the back seats are, he's between 5'8 to 5'10 and sat comfortably... a 6'0 plus would definitely have issues behind me but be alright behind a smaller driver or smaller front passenger This car won me over from the c and e class coupes due to 1. price 2. the tech (MBUX system) they don't yet have, looking to order my new CLA within the month

@mart_en6 жыл бұрын
Superb video as usual ! But Mercedes doesn't seem to care about customer complaints. The old CLA was massively criticized for two main reasons. - Too little headroom in the rear/complicated entry - Really awkward proportions due to the enormous frontal overhang, which made the car look like an ant eater from the side. Neither problem was fixed or even worked on. On the contrary ! The headroom in the rear and entry are as bad as before and the huge frontal overhang was even stretched by 1,1 cm ! The only things that are definitely better than before, is the improved legroom ( which doesn't matter if you can't sit up straight ) and the beautifully shaped rear end. But Mercedes probably thought, since the car sells well anyway, why bother changing anything ...
@autogefuehl6 жыл бұрын
thanks and good points!
@SDav216 жыл бұрын
They can't do much about head room on a compact coupe. That's why there is the A Class sedan. They would've had to make it even longer to add more headroom. If that's what you want then this isn't for you. The A Class sedan is.
@mart_en6 жыл бұрын

TYVM! Previously, I required a manual transmission, so kept up with BMW more than MB. Is there a matrix of all these MB models and when they had a new generation. If we look at 5 levels (A,B,C,E,S) x 2 trims (regular and AMG) x 3 bodies (sedan, CLx, SUV) that is 30 platforms before looking at 2/4WD, engine size, etc. I like to know the generation since with interiors, safety, MBUX there are large differences between generations whereas size, engine, 0-60 are much more similar (pre-BEV.) Two questions come to mind: does the world & MB really need quite these many models? And why is there a A,B,C,E class but no D class? E.g., A-sedan and CLA are new generation but isn't AMG A yet? And is GLA SUV the new or old generation A?

So we can say that new cla is a kind of a new Mercedes c class 4 door coupe, which is based in the same platform as a class, right?
@coolviveka6 жыл бұрын

I don’t like the two piece tail lights and the rear bumper reflectors. The first generation did not have this issue.

Hey Thomas, been watching your videos a lot and Im in united states waiting for new bmw 3 series to come over next month. I had an e60 2010 5 series and it seems from your 3 series first look video that the new 3 series is same size dimensions and overall size as e60 5 series of 2 generations past. That e60 was perfect size for my preference so can you please confirm interior space similarity? Number measurements look about the same as well.. you seemed so impressed and excited when reviewing the new 3 series so i think i will love it as well! Thanks for reading

Autogefühl Yes I have and the m340i seems amazing! Truly a beautiful design from all angles and in my opinion looks most sporty and cool compared to the other models. I cant wait to test drive and see how it feels to drive. I hope the 4 series variant will be revealed soon because i may perfer the coupe version depending on front cabin space comparison and exterior design. I like the idea of 2 big doors on that new model design, im sure they will make it hard to decide lol.

So.. they’ve made the CLA to the C class what the CLS is for the E class.. a more design/brag focus car.. meaning there is a good chance the new CLA will cost more than then the C class, which is pointless..
@campkira6 жыл бұрын
CLA size based on A class. CLS size base on c class. It look bigger but one you sit in it C is still a little bigger than CLA class. They just want to fool kid to think CLA is look more sporty than C class.

Watching other reviews then watching this has me very confused because there is a lot of mixed information. From other reviews LEDs (static) headlights are standard and to open the trunk you push the Mercedes badge on the back to open...
@autogefuehl6 жыл бұрын
Headlamps I am pretty sure they start Halogen and are just optional LED. Maybe others confuse it with the LED daytime running light, that is not the same as the main headlight unit. As for the trunk, sorry my bad, my mistake.
