Exploring Opening Night for the first ever Oogie Boogie Bash Halloween Party in Disney California Adventure park. We checked out the new interactive treat trails with villains, the awesome Villains Grove, Frightfully Fun parade, Headless Horseman, Villainous World of Color show, New exclusive party merchandise, and a peek at the DescenDANCE Party.

The Katie - Mad Hatter convo - the BEST! Dr. Facilier is awesome...the interactivity of this party is amazing! Love this video - the Redwood Creek trail is beyond cool looking - I think that is better than ANYTHING that World has to offer...I like the Oogie Boogie spin to the halloween party! Whoo-woo! Got our tickets for Boogie Oogie Bash,after four hours waiting. The weird thing were the times of waiting. First , they said we have an hour wait,then it was thirty. The times either went extremely up or extremely down. Anyone else have this happen?

It didn’t seem like Disney portrayed Cheshire as a Villain. He is a trickster, but so is Genie. What do you guys think?

Many thanks. Not going this year. Glad to see though they are giving people their money’s worth. The parade was cool. I loved, loved, loved the Villain’s Grove. Disneyland paints with light like no one else. Good seeing Mr. Woo, who is always hilarious. Also loved Katie’s conversation with the Mad Hatter, who reminded me of a young Tim Curry. Thanks for taking us with you!

My girlfriend and I are visiting California from October 23rd-November 5th. We are unfortunately only able to afford to visit one of the parks. The thing is, we are more into the classic Disney so I think we would rather do Disneyland but Oogie Boogie Bash looks amazing! What would you guys recommend if you could only afford to do Oogie Boogie Bash or spend a day at Disneyland?

I say Disneyland because Oogie Boogie is at DCA which is great but if ur into the classic as you say then in my opinion Disneyland is the call.

I posted this above to someone else w/same question: We are going in October (staying at the Grand Californian) and have confirmed via guest services; If you stay at the Grand Californian - they have a couple hundred tickets set aside for hotel guests you can purchase, however you must be a hotel guest and be in line at the front desk at 6am on the day of the OBB. I have no idea if the other Disney hotels (Paradise pier/Disneyland hotel) offer tickets but if you are staying in either I would definitely call ahead to find out so you can plan accordingly. I have also seen tickets on scalping sites as well as Ebay but I cannot offer any insight on how those transactions end up. Happy haunts & Good luck!
