@@vowsta it’s working b/c it’s made with American, Taiwanese , & Japanese components, whose assembly is overseen by American QC engineers. Needless to say, it would be a whole different story if it was produced using Chinese components (which is not possible anyway b/c china does not have such complex ICs) & overseen by Chinese QC ppl

@@bigmedge fair enough. But it's not because it's an exotic car brand you've never heard of, labeled made in china, which will automatically mean bad quality and bad reliability. China is a billion buyer market. They got historic brands which are up and running for decades and are slowly starting to get international. Great Wall is one of the top selling brands in china. Does it mean that chinese like to buy cars that breaks off easily? What makes an european or american sooo special for him to have better standards than a chinese person ? To sum up my thinking and to give u something to think and look up: BMW Group are trusting GreatWall Motors to build their new MINI 3 doors EV (platform, engine, etc..) it is the same platform of a ORA funky cat but with different power and range. It will maybe make you reconsider the reliability of this brand.
