I appreciated hearing your views on where guitars are made and how much that does (or does not) affect their quality. My Reverend guitars (of which I am a proud owner of 3) are phenomenal. I'm not a guy that wants to mod a guitar after I buy it, if possible, and with Reverend I haven't needed to.

Sold all my fenders and Gibson’s. The value and tonal diversity of Reverend guitars is something else for the price. Got the Airsonic W, BC1, Warhawk DAW, Six Gun TL, Love em. They all are different but can all be used for any song

I finally went for the Crosscut ! On middle pozich, bass contour at 0, guitar volume around 50%... the two pickups deliver a unique mix of spanky and biting range of very precise clear tones, they work miracles while plugged on my little Blackstar HT5. Big thank you to Joe , Ken and all the Reverend people.

Looking great! Love my Contender HB, very interested to see the lower output pickups, will definitely be checking these out once they make it to Canada!

If this guitar was in gunmetal, metallic alpine, or avocado I would buy one immediately, no questions asked 😂 it's like Reverend is living in my head and knowing exactly what I want in a guitar... Something with twang potential that can get heavy when needed. 🥵❤️🔥🎸🤘

Finally finishing this vid! Super bummed that I won't get the crosscut w until 2021 (🤦♂️) but I understand. And I AGREE and applaud you being so honest with your opinion on country of origin. Bravo for being so up front an out it! Been loving my flatroc & warhawk and cannot wait for my crosscut! Kudos!

I bought a Cross Cut last month from Sweetwater in Oceanside Green (18:45 in the video). Guys these guitars are fantastic. Real deal professional and deserve more attention. Neck is smooth as butter, tone is amazing, and looks beautiful in terns of fit and finish. Only non-American made guitar I own and its right up there with the best excelling in many ways. GET IT!

I need to get a Crosscut W. I am thinking early next year. I might have to get some of those Railhammer Clean Cuts for my Telecaster Deluxe before then.

I'm glad I discovered this new Crosscut model. I'm seriously considering maybe buying one, but… I was just in the middle of ordering a Sixgun HPP, which I like for its Clarity and its super-strat characteristics.

Which one gets closer to strat tones - trem or no trem?

I PREFER lower and medium-low output humbuckers, and P90’s over MOST high-output humbuckers for most applications. Much better definition. Any plans to do a Charger RA with those? So, the Crosscut W is like a Reeves, except for the pickups and flame maple? Can you simply make a 2nd version of the Reeves with those clean cuts?

The Reeves Gabrels has a slimmer neck and an ebony fretboard.

So are these pickups single coils?
@karlsberg271511 ай бұрын
There are technicaly 2 coils per pickup, but only 1 used to produce the sound. It's like a silent P90. According to my ears it sounds richer than a regular P90 but also with more clarity.

How much for each guitar, $1,000?
@sketchyold3 жыл бұрын
Most Reverends cost between $900-1200. Artist models more. This string-thru Crosscut is $1000. Considering the cost of Korean-made guitars from other companies (Schecter, LTD, PRS Gretsch, D’Angelico and others), Reverends are more than worth it, especially considering build quality and quality components.

I love watching people who are ok with building their products in countries that commit human rights abuses on a daily basis squirm when called to account for their actions. Now Reverend builds in South Korea and they can make quality guitars and treat their workers and citizens fairly so that's the only reason I'm even considering buying one. But for this guy to say that building in China is the same as the USA....his greed has overridden his conscience.

Thank you many times over! " The merchant has no country. His sole loyalty is to the source of his income." Thomas Jefferson It's mortifying to see "American" companies kowtow to oppressors. Human rights mean nothing to most, nothing at all.
