I brought a Swift and the problem is not pick up, but the accelerator pedal seems to be tuned for fuel efficiency, so you have to press it down slightly more than other cars if you want to accelerate faster.

Why? You cannot legally drive over 120 kmph in India. There are speed cameras that will fine you if you do on the expressways. And on highway, you cannot even reach that speed.

Fronx has a better power to weight ratio than the Swift. Fronx: 49 kW/kg, Swift : 44 kW/kg. But Swift has better low-end torque than the Fronx. In the highway at speeds over 120, Fronx will beat Swift, but from 0-100 Swift will beat Fronx.
