If the incoming administration removes EPA taxes on "low" capacity vehicles, and removes the chicken tax, I can see it entering the US market in a few years.

Its the truck the masses need, but I highly doubt they will bring this to the US anywhere near those price points. Can Toyota have the same team design a compact rwd sports car with the same concept too?? Maybe use the same underpinning & parts bin components for several models... a sports coupe, a sedan & a wagon.

Toyota says it is NOT bringing it to the US. It will be available in Mexico but it's unlicenseable in the US. Maybe auto makers will get it when their overpriced pickups sit on the lot for years.
