For clarification, that is not the Ford F-53 Chassis from most Class A’s. It is actually an E-450 chassis like most Class C’s use. They take delivery and actually remove the van cab.

Motorhome Specialty has 24.1 new for $ 99.000.i sure you could get it much cheaper.RV sales seem to be slow.JMO. A great change would be to have the side mirrors manually pull in.There sitting out there for any to hit when parked.If you read all the negative reviews on Thor products you may want to look at other RV .I really like the 24.1 but I don’t want to spend half my time in the shop. 😎

Same as the vegas 24.1. And these two are a ford v8 version of the compass snd gemini 24kb with much much more cargo (3400lbs versus 1583) and can tow 8k instead of 5k (depending of cargo). But the mpg is fsr lower than the transit ford v6. It is a choice. Also maintenance of class a and towing of class a are more difficult. It really depends but these 24.1 are nice for the potential of cargo. You can put a large electrical system and bring 3/ 4 persons and a dog with comfort.

I love the layout, the powertrain, and the fact that you can easily utilize the entire RV without putting the slide out. I understand that this is an entry level vehicle, and as such it has lower end materials and features. With that in mind, I wish that Thor would offer an upgraded, more premium version of the Axis 24.1 with all the bells and whistles, because I think they would find buyers for it. And maybe do it on the F-550 chassis for even greater cargo carrying capacity, because that engine is used in much larger RV's and is more than capable for a vehicle of this size.

The ford v8 7.3 godzilla can tow 8k and this 24.1 has 3400 lbs cargo capacity. I don’t know what more you want. Even a newmar does not have much more occc. Maybe a newmar can tow 10/15k. But not a f550. What do you want to do with that? Tow a big sport cars trailer? Of course the 26 feet coach is not enough. But 8k hitch 3400 occc is far too good to me. And the material is good. The wood come from italy from a specialist in yacht resistant to moisture eith solid hinge. The sofa are very comfy, the mattress is good, Thor latest 2024-2025 are good. Of course like any other brand don’t buy the covid rv of 2019-2023 where company didn’t have any qualified employees. It is the same with even the most reputable rv builders. I look at reviews from owners and people are happy with their 2024+ model with no issues at all.

I feel sorry for anyone who buys a THOR- terrible quality, terrible service after the sale- they just dont care. I spent two years of hell with an THOR RV that the entire electrical system wouldn't work. Thor ran out the warranty and told me to get lost. I hired an independent tech who found the problem- THOR forgot to flip on the power switch to the inverter! Besides this there were dozens of other problems, like for example somebody at the factory put the water fill/city water stickers on backwards and I couldn't figure out why the water tank wouldn't fill.

Interesting bathroom as the expansion gives you room to dry off from your shower. What exactly is a thermal foil countertop? Is it a type of hard plastic that won’t scorch of you put a hot pan on?

Bought a new engine for my Ram pickup truck. Had 187,000 miles. The new engine made it 22,000. After 2 months I was given back my truck with a rebuilt engine that gives me problems.

This rv been around since 2015.. it’s use sit on a ford E-350 chassis they upgraded it to E-450 chassis.. I’m sorry rv isn’t European inspired.

Hearsay gets you nowhere, dude. Unless you have one, you shouldn't be giving your opinion, on something you don't own, or have never driven. They drive just fine. You can upgrade any vehicle's front end, to make driving better, as you can with this model. But out the box, these are fine. I've never had the white knuckle moments, you profess, too. The tires are the same as on E350 and E450 chassis's, and not an issue. And your comments are not appreciated since you're going on hearsay, and haven't driven one yourself.
