Man Al Ewing isn't in the same stratosphere as Claremont! I respect him for always putting Blue Marvel in his comics but outside of Immortal Hulk, Al Ewing is average at best. He's not even one of Marvel's top-5 talents; Ryan North &G Willow Wilson are better writers then Ewing. Wild to compare him to one of the greatest ever in Claremont

Here's my theory. If we see a random New Black character, especially if it's a black woman, that's likely Venom. Either that or Venom has basically gain the ability to make it self a full-figured form. Remember, old man Dylan shot young Dylan with a piece of molten man, that is essentially liquid metal that can be reshaped, like the Venom symbiote. What if because of that extra structure, the Venom symbiote is a lot more sturdy now and can create a more solid form?

the symbiote is jumping between hosts or it is Rick jones which continues Rick’s hero hat or possibly Luke/Rick/Robbie are training the new venom and they disappear to help hide the tru identity, As things go on we’ll see traits from all three in the new venom and with Madam masque either she’ll be a fourth mentor or simply the venom’s next hero takedown. In the end I hope Dylan will reunite with venom with him getting his own symbiote

After reading the book my top two guesses was Madame Masque and Luke Cage. Madame Masque because some of the things Venom said kinda sounded like a woman would say them, Luke Cage also seems like an obvious choice because of Venom's body type and he'd probably make everything about Venom stronger. However, my real choice is Robbie Robertson, as a writer, I know I could do more with him because he's less established and I could play with his personality as Venom more, I could see how Venom could make him feel renewed vigor and excitement. I used to be a fan of Rick Jones, but he is just that character that they throw everything at to see what sticks and nothing ever does. I think Robbie is the least likely to be Venom so that also makes him a good candidate for being Venom.

I suspect it's either Luke cage, Rick Jones... neither of these two are ideal Luke cage is trying to be more than a Hero which makes him a little more ideal than Rick Jones... but Rick Jones is just a lucky dude that gets all the Toys and goes on fantastic adventures so you don't have to... If Rick Jones was anymore punchagle of a human being, he would have a highly popular internet presence..But both him and Luke Cage learned martial arts from some of the best human teachers that would have taught them Judo... Steve Rogers and Danny Rand.

Does Black Widow still have a symbiote? Having Eddie become Carnage is as bad as everything that Sony has done with the character. I love to see Luke Cage &Madame Masque but just not as Venom &unless a symbiote bites off Paul's head &leaves it in the bed for Mary Jane to find then anytime he's in the comic would be a waste of everyone's time. If these are the options I'd take Scorpion being back with Venom or even Dylan

I don't think It's Madam Masque. Madam Masque has all the right skill sets to make a good host for the All New Venom.. But no motivation to do so... She has been a bad guy forever, and I don't see why or how the Venom Symbiont would bond with her. She has been in police custody although Venom war. But if it was her.. It be a good heel turn and I do love that.

This was terribly underwhelming. I didn't like the last Venom series, and the Venom War "event" was not good. My expectations were low and they have been met. I thought the art was fine, but the story was lackluster. Who is Venom? I don't care, and I should. The "mystery" was competently set up, but the "suspects" are meh. The idea that Dylan Brock is going to "investigate" and get to the bottom of this is laughable. He's @&#$ing thirteen years old. I was hoping Ewing would move on. The best parts of the last Venom series were by Ram V and Torrun Gronbekk. I don't think Ewing has ever been interested in writing Dylan, and he's never gotten the kid's voice right.
