The (2) has been my home line until 1990. If you took photos of on the right side, what was a super view from 149th St all the way to 163rd St is slowly being blocked by new buildings that is being built.

Im moving to NYC because of the night services. I love that NYC is the only city that has 24 hour service at every station, even the rarely used Rockaway Park stations. I love riding at 2 am when i visit NYC

19:08 bro the same exact thing happened to me i missed an R train at rego park at 2 am and had to wait 35 minutes for the next one i feel so bad for you you have to stay up at night and record these videos and wait 21 minutes for a 7 train. we all truly appreciate the hard work and effort you put in these videos to entertain us!!! ❤

Lmaooo it’s funny how I stumbled on this video; I remember seeing you film this on that VERY 3 train you was on lol. That 15 minute stop at 72nd caused me to be 10 minutes late for work…. I have to be out in Queens by a certain time 🤦🏾‍♂️. Good to know there were “unauthorised personnel on the tracks….” The track work at times really do cause unnecessary delays. I get it but their timing could better; just saying lol. What a night that was 😅🥲 Keep Up Your Awesome Work!

Retired C/R(1983-2013). They still doing that G single track shuttle for work orders? I've said this to other transit KZbinrs: this is the line that will save NYC, not the planned QBX. 20 minutes from Court Square to Hoyt.

@Sup-R-Toe: Back in the day (late 60's to the early 90's), it was rather risky to ride the subways after 11 pm. Muggings were frequent, pickpocketing was rampant, assaults were commonplace and murders were not rare. The system is vastly safer today than it was back then (despite a Covid-era crime spike.) However, these conditions pertain to daylight hours, I believe, but I would like to be wrong about this. In your experience, is traveling the subways late at night into the early morning hours risky as pertaining to becoming a crime victim? Since I love ❤️ your content, and trust your judgment, your response would be highly valued! Thanks!

All trains on the midnight run twenty normally. Staffing, maintenance, you're blessed to have service, and not be in a city where a bus may come once every thirty minutes, or worse an hour, or no service between 1am and 5am.

4:27 Yeah a lot of station platforms have a wider gap than usual, mostly to account for curves and stuff along the line so there’s no damage to the structure. Sometimes it’s due to differences in platform-train height, sometimes it’s because people aren’t looking where they’re stepping. Regardless, the “mind the gap” announcements are rather useful.

I would’ve loved to have gone and been your cameraman for this I’m such a subway geek but don’t want to geek it alone….and Yes Times SQ bathrooms are open during the day with an attendant (they’re individual restrooms unisex and accessible the attendant basically watches : keeps order with the line of people waiting & making sure nobody using drugs or other stuff in the bathroom and possibly cleans it up but I doubt it). There’s a small handful of stations with working bathrooms not many
