You should take either: 1. The Montauk branch from Jamaica @ 01:00 2. Take the New Haven line to either Danbury, CT, or New Haven, CT. 3. Take the Harlem Line all the way to Wassiac. 4. Take the Hudson Line to Poughkeepsie. OR 5. Take the Main Line to Ronkonkama, then Greenport. Whichever you choose is on you. Good luck & have fun.

The work train that you saw that look like a R62 is a R127 it's used to for work/garbage trains for the subway system only used for workers only for transportation (might be wrong)

I believe the cars at 37:55 are classified as an "R127" type car. They were built for work train use only.

ive ridden the NYC subway at 2 am before and explored around at night, and i can say with certainty that NYC is safe at night. just certain places like Hunts Point and Brownsville, places you wouldn't go during the day, would be dangerous at night. The big reason im moving to NYC is for the 24 hour service it provides

27:24 It still says R142A on that R188 cuz 7211-7590 ran on the 6 till 2013 when they were replaced by the R62A's from the 7. 7211-7590 were converted and transformed into R188's. Also u said all R142A's were converted to R188's. Not all of them were converted. 7591-7810 still run on the 4 to this day and are R142A's so remember, if ur riding 7752 or something on the 4 thinking it's an R142, its an R142A.

Those EP trains that you just mentioned, they are R127/R134s. They were purposefully built for garbage work by Kawasaki and has never been seen on passenger duty, as far as I know.
