Kim Head Films the thing about BC is that their dynamic isn't the same as J&A, Abbi isn't such a solid straight man like Jake, and that takes insecure Jake into consideration. Abbi on the show is often totally ridiculous if not more than Ilana, and Ilana isn't as weird as a character as Amir is, she just does weird things very often. Both duos I find completely hilarious but the work in their different forms. If J&A were swapped into a BC episode idk if that'd be as funny as Abbi and Ilana
