So this guy (in terms of ACTUAL sets/matches) lost 15-20 rounds against ninjakilla, and got reversed 3-0 twice by his little bro. Either this is some sort of training for him because if not, this has to be a wake up call for him to get off Tekken or to get into the LAB.

I think he does it to say later on that he wasn’t trying, and will literally have proof that he’s not by texting during the match. A prime example that is very similar would be him complaining about TTS when he can easily mute it whenever it’s spamming.
