Yeah, at the time being. Probably because she have more time to train and experiment on her kekkei genkai moreso than Naruto does. While Naruto would have more varied Rasengan jutsus near the series end.

Well, she is not only a side character but also only a filler episode side character. That is why she is only seen in only 5 episodes. They also filled these episodes with as many different jutsus as they could for the show of it.

Man, time flies by! These Guren episodes starting airing in 2008. Almost TWO decades ago. Guren was one of my favorite characters and her Crystal Release ability is still one of the coolest things in all of Naruto, even if it wasn’t canon. I’m so glad that she got such a long filler arc and that she was actually able to battle the Sanbi!! 🎉❤
