So essentially no mater how strong someone is, unless they learn how to open the 8th gate the never really reach their max potential cause they never use the max amount of chakra in their body. At this point, Orochimaru being the most busted side character He can make a literal suitable permanent clone through his research. Can swap body for Immortality. If he wish enough, he can get himself a Rinnegan as he was able to make those clone with Sharingan. By that way he can use Rinne Tensei to revive dead people like Nagato and when the body was exhausted of Chakra he can just swap to another body. I believe if he can make a replica of Bloodline Technique as Sharingan, it's not impossible to make a replica of Kekkei Genkai (technique with 2 element) or even Kekkei Tota. Also able to make Replica of Sharingan means you can permanently abuse Izanagi as Orochimaru can just make clone with their full body have Sharingan, and when his current body about to run out of Sharingan he can just use Reverse Summoning Technique to summon other clone to swap body and proceed abusing Izanagi. Meaning his defensive potency is incredibly absurd Unfortunately, after able to make replica of Sharingan. He pretty much get the feeling of being Uchiha and done with it and just do some casual research

The problem was that he couldn't bring jiraiya back due to him being in the ocean (same reason kabuto didn't take a sample of him to do the impure reincarnation) Rinne rebirth has 2 limitations, the amount of chakra you have and the body you have, if the rinnegan is not yours or not suitable to your body, using this technique can kill you or not (like nagato for example)

Some clarification for the Multi-Shadowclone Jutsu : The techniques grows more powerful the more chakra you split with your clone. If you're a normal shinobi, 2 clones means that all 3 of you have roughly 33.3% power individually. Obviously not really nice, considering you'd want to be able to fight and not keel over after 2 more techniques. So you summon only one, that way you have 50% chakra left to help yourself win the battle. Now think about it for a moment: - Sasuke is able to pull only 5 shadowclones, even if that's not his preferred fighting stype. - Kakashi chooses to only do 1 at a time. Naruto, on the other hand, had so much chakra that he could summon over a 1000 and still wage a battle. Granted, they would be less effective, but still outclassed many normal shinobi. (even Pain got bamboozled, hehe) I believe that the way one uses the shadowclone is more important rather than how many he can summon.

Rinne Rebirth doesn't actually take the users life away and the only reason that Nagato died when he used it is because he was low on Chakra and using Rinne Rebirth takes most of the users Chakra so that was why he died

Meaning you are aware you were going to take damage so you switch places. So if you got caught of guard and got killed theres no substituting that. Izanami is more powerful because you go back to before you got the damage to yourself. so literally if you got your head cut off you just basically revive.

Madara used it to come back to life didn't he? Or was it a clone? Or both? I feel like you need to activate it before dying or else how would you? I could be wrong though.
