May the record show that Sakurai went well out of his way to ensure that if you finish off your opponent with an all-out attack, you get that special Victory Screen. Now that is just showing Persona 5 all kinds of love right there. ^__^

@@c4liga215 I think Joker still edges out Sephiroth due to: 1. Joker having his own transition to the results screen from Persona 5 while Sephiroth still uses the default ones from Ultimate. 2. Having multiple victory themes. 3. Being the only character that doesn't have the announcer. Each of the Phantom Thieves say a quote from the original game (except for Morgana's "Smash is as wild as ever, eh Joker?") 4. All Out Attack victory screen. 5. Joker saying either "Heh.", "Nice!", or "Begone..." when you press the A button. He's still the only character that does this.

Theres a couple of stuff your not understanding. Sakurai is the face and shotcaller of that team, his ideas are what made Smash Bros possible and evolve into what it is now. Without him there would quite literally be no Joker because he's the one who approached Atlus. It is actually thanks to him. His team did an amazing job bringing characters to Smash which is why you never hear anything negative about them.

If you have a physical copy of smash, because that’s what I assume a lot of people want, is the new content, all you have to do is delete the software, and then reinstall it. You know what would be epic? If you play in a teammatch and joker does an all out attack, that the characters shown in the little pictures would be personafied variants of his actual teammates. Would be so epic to see Cloud and link for example instead of the pictures of ryuji, ann and so on.

It's even better once you realize that it's Joker himself (or at least the same voice actor) who says "Game!" at the end of a match. So Joker is basically rubbing in his own victory.

Not only is joker one of 2 characters with a unique victory theme with cloud, he actually has 3 of them with different color schemes to match. In 4-player games the color also changes depending on who plays him, and if he wins a stock battle with his final smash he gets a unique victory screen. That’s a lot of extra detail to add to one characters victory screen.
