This is actually missing a few things. I know that starting on a Reverse Arm Slam can also divert into a Cannonball Buster chain grab, and that actually isn't listed on the command list.
@BigBangBlitz5 жыл бұрын
From the description "When there is a reverse special stretch bomb attempt out of a sidestep (sidestep 2+4) the chain route depends on what side the grab begins on. If grabbed at the sides or back it will result in the chain starting as though cannonball buster was executed, but if grabbed from the front you have the opportunity to do a Manhattan drop for a longer chain route. The break button also changes - if grabbed from the front it will be 2, from the left it will be 1, from the right 2, and if grabbed from behind the throw becomes unbreakable. Also some of the chains can take different routes and there's a lot of them so I couldn't fit that in the video." "*It is possible after reverse a right side kick and ONLY a right side kick with King's b+2+4 counter and press 3+4 to automatically attempt to apply a figure-four leg lock immediately after the leg screw animation ends. The window for input is very small, it can still be countered with and you can do the same thing by holding db and pressing 1+3 with good timing after the move ends so I didn't bother adding it to the video."

I remember thinking as a kid King was mostly an offensive approach character, not knowing that to use him to his full potential, he’s more defensive and it’s all about the grappling lol
@BigBangBlitz3 жыл бұрын
He is defensive, but as cool as all the throws are none of them are practical unless you are using them for positioning or quick damage from a launcher. The giant swing in particular seems like easy damage but even that can be teched in two places. Muscle buster and Jackhammer are pretty good but really you don't keep Oki usually so in a real all out match they lack in value for most case uses. I mean, I still do them. I will still do the wall throw in a combo even if it is less damage. Generally it's best to just use push and go into instant shining wizard or some kind of mix up, he's good at that.

@BigBangBlitz7 жыл бұрын
I just bind the top buttons to lp+rp,lk+rk,lp+lk, and rp+rk. This is a very common controller setup and using those eliminates the possibility of failure. Also a lot of the combinations don't require exact presses, just that they are pressed at the same time, so you may at times just hold one button and press another one. Example: for a chain like lp,lp+rp, lp+rp+rk, all you have to do is press lp and hold it, then press rp and hold both, then tap rk and it works anyway.

To do the majority of this On a controller would be impossible I’ve tried and my fingers where dying
@BigBangBlitz3 жыл бұрын
I use a controller though. You have to consider the concept of buffering - you can hold buttons while pressing other ones to do inputs. What this means if a command is like 1,21+2+4, you can do it straight or press and hold 1, press and hold 2 and while holding those press and hold 4 and that is a valid input, so you slide your thumb and hold them one by one in one smmoth motion then you dont have to have any precision with the last input. Watch the input advice action graphic at the bottom of the screen for hints.

@BigBangBlitz7 жыл бұрын
It has a very small input window. If you go into options in practice you can turn on the blue outlines for player active frames, and if you do the move you'll very briefly see a flash of blue. That is the precise timing needed to do it. It is similar to Paul's ultimate choke timing.
