Nick, your plants are gorgeous - green, rich, full, happy. I'd love to see videos on your techniques for keeping them so healthy. How do you keep your house temperature, humidity? How do you manage fertilizer so they look so well fed. Which fertilizers do you recommend? Do you think the colors of the walls matter? What kind of ventilation do you manage? Where are you in the U.S. to achieve such perfection? I watch quite a lot of house plant videos, and you're got an A+ crop, no kidding. Your tour shows how dedicated you are. Ran.

I wonder if you might enjoy having a few more Syngoniums. They are super easy to care for, but they do come in about 20 different varieties. Some of them are jaw-dropping gorgeous like "Batik" and others just have really nice colours like 'Neon Robusta' (pink) or 'Silver Pearl' which is really pale green. One Anthurium that I found locally a few weeks ago is the 'Rainbow Champion' variety. Summer Rayne Oakes did a video with one. It has a gorgeous mix of colours. The new leaves are almost like a leather brown, and the flowers (bracts) have a nice shade of salmon and light green.

Wonderful array of aroids!! I was mezmerized by your huge collection. You certainly love plants....their textures, colours, shapes and growing habits. Hi Nick! WOW!!!!! You have such beautiful plants! The aroids that I have and love are philodendrons, pothos, Syngoniums, ZZ's and Peace Lillie's. I'm always watching for different varieties, especially the ZZ Raven. I have other plants that I love, too, but they're not aroids. It’s not an aroid but I can see than you also fancy begonias. I just picked up the most adorable one yesterday called a tweedle-dee begonia. The leaves are TINT and almost look like ivy or maple leaves. I did a bit of online looking and it seems it’s also a good candidate for creating a bonsai if that’s your thing! It’s really cute though! If you like cute tiny leaves and begonias, I recommend it!

All Things Houseplants they're only called philodendron pedatum 'florida ghost' if the leaves start out white then fade to green

If you like dark plants, do get a Black Cardinal Philidendron - it's lovely, especially when potted together with the Silver Sword!

The Philodendron "scandens" is not a lemon lime Philo. It's Neon Cordatum, the Lemon Lime actually looks very different when it comes to the shape of the leaves. But the color is very much similar!

Could you possibly do a video about Epipremnum pinnatum vs. Epripremnum pinnatum 'Cebu blue'? Europe gets flooded with standart Epipremnums labeled as 'Cebu blue' and it's really hard to tell them apart so that would be amazing!☺

You need a aglonema modestum just the plain Green. Nobody ever talks about them. I got mine from my Grandmother and it took me months to figure out what it was. You would love it. It's my favorite!!!

Thanks for the tour! Oh my gosh, those drops on the stems are sap??? I saw those on my phil Imperial Red and thought it was pests, so I treated it for 3 weeks. I never saw a pest - just the drops. All your plants look great and your Imperial Red is gorgeous. It looks a lot better than mine... (not because I treated it - it's just never really thrived for me).

They like very bright light and I let them dry out more than 50% before I water them again

I've been struggling with my peace lily for years now, About a month ago I put it in water as a last ditch effort to keep it happy, and it worked! Almost all the new growth has no leaf burn and it threw up a couple blooms.

every time you say to not water your zz more than once a month, I have to giggle. I am a chronic over-waterer, so I have compensated for that by putting my zz in a mix that is 1/3 pumice, 1/3 bark, and the rest is a bit of perlite, coco coir, and worm castings. So it is *incredibly* well draining, and it's in a terra cotta pot. I water it every 10-14 days.

exoticrainforest.com agrees with you, this plant lives in wet conditions, and thrives with more water, it just needs a very well draining soil. You can google " myths of zamioculcas zamiifolia" to get to their page where they discuss how keeping it in dry conditions is simply causing it to be dormant. It won't die.... but that's only a testament to the plant's defences against the dry season.

Thanks for these great videos! I have a quick question. I have a philodendron selloum that is growing out instead of up. It is about 4 ft wide. Is there a way to train them to grow up instead of out? I have read on several websites that it cannot be done. Not sure if this droopy behaviour is a sign that it is unhappy. Its leaves don't look discolored, maybe a little dark, and it sprouts a new leaf every once in awhile.Thanks!
