Our cats scratching post is always in the same place (near the couch in the living room) he uses it everyday, multiple times a day.But he also likes to scratch on the couch. Having it where he can get to it AND it is his favorite one doesn't always mean they will NOT scratch on the furniture.

$400 faucet for "cheap & renter friendly" really giving those Hunger Games Capitol vibes Edit: To clarify- because people have some pretty snarky responses: 1 The faucet looks like a detailed Panem insignia, hence the Hunger Games reference 2 There was no indication that OP thrifted this faucet for cheap, only that the faucet is $400 MSRP and we know how misleading people can be with they way they phrase things. Additionally $400 for any faucet is far too much money, again, referencing the Hunger Games for how this is materialistic and overly adorned 3 it is not renter-friendly to replace a faucet unless the renter has experience plumbing. I've definitely seen a few people say "oh it can't be that hard" and then sit on the floor of their bathroom in defeat with parts of their sink scattered everywhere. My personal opinion? This is an ugly faucet that is overpriced and I can't imagine putting it anywhere in my house unless I wanted to move into the Clown College Student Housing.

I’m not sure how drilling into the wall is considered renter friendly
@autopsyturvy10 ай бұрын
I'm not sure how strict your landlord is but even in subsidized housing, they told us nail/screw holes are fine, it's an easy patch job. To make it renter friendly though, try using the command hook strips or nano tape to hang things!! I've hung just about all my wall decorations with nano tape, besides what definitely needed nails, and it rocks. That little drip deco would definitely be fine with some nano tape holding it up.

If this is considered renter friendly (i.e., drilling holes everywhere), then what isn't considered renter friendly😑

Drilling into walls and replacing your bathroom sink is not "renter friendly"
@codieireland654210 ай бұрын
Always read your lease and discuss it with your landlord. Screw holes or nail holes are usually an easy fix and aren't against the rules set in the lease you sign. Since you can easily change the sink faucet and knobs back it's still considered ok because no damage occured and the original pieces are still on hand to make the swap again. Any renovations that are completely reversible and damage free fall under the category of "renter friendly". Just because you don't own it doesn't mean you can't put your spin on it while you're there as long as it isn't permanent or causing harm.
