Do you guys have a lot of reptile shelters? We don't have many. Mostly its private homes that take in rescued animals. I think there is a need for it here, since there are a lot of awful stuff on craigslist. But it can actually be difficult to get a rescued animal. The privately owned pet stores also take in rescues.

i got my gecko from a small pet shop that doesn't breed geckos, but takes them in as surrenders and takes care of them properly until they are adopted. they overprice them a little bit but I think its amazing what they do.

the pet world please do not buy from bhb! He keeps his animals in tiny, bare tanks that are extremely cruel. He has no idea what he is doing, and lies to his supporters. Also, his reptiles are extremely overpriced. Do not support him if you would not keep a leapord gecko in a plastic bin with no hides, lighting, substrate, etc. And, if you would do that, you should not have reptiles at all.

Hey there!!! Did Gizmo go through a phase where she was almost all yellow! My baby, Speck, looked A LOT like Gizmo when she was a baby. She even had the two white dots surrounded by black rings on her head. Now she's primarily yellow, but she's only a year old! I'm curious as to whether she might get as dark as Gizmo when she gets older! 😊 Awesome videos! You're the reason Speck gets all the wonderful care she deserves!

Hello!!! I just found your channel and I love how informative you are! I just recently purchased a 4 month old leopard gecko. I am very excited to get the needed supplements and nutrition for him and for the crickets! For a young gecko would you recommend using eco earth as substrate? Hello! I've had my leopard gecko for only two weeks but I love him so much already and your videos have been super helpful! I've been handling him frequently and he likes climbing around on me, but today he climbed underneath my long hair and stayed there longer than normal. I was wondering if that's because he probably liked the little hiding spot, or if he maybe felt lost or stuck? Do your geckos crawl through your hair? I also worry about his grip because my hair is slippery

It's possible that Diego is not a giant at all, apparently there is a difference between normal leos and giants in their skull structure. Another note: my 7-month old leo Juno Eclipse looks exactly like Ziggy's baby picture, which is odd considering Juno's genetics are Tremper Eclipse W/Y as opposed to RAPTOR. I wonder if she'll end up looking like Ziggy one day... Great video as always!

Hi! I've found your channel last night when looking for some tips on feeding sick geckos. I have a leo which looks exactly like your Gizmo and she's also 11! She spent last week in the vet hospital and been treated for a bacterial infection (she had a clumps of pus in her mouth and couldn't eat) and parasites. She's home now and recovering but still not eating and I was wondering if you have any advice I could use. Might get her Repashy Grub pie, hopefully she will be able to lick it 😕 PS Your geckos (and rest of the pets as well 😉) are absolutely lovely!

Oh! After watching this, I had a question- I think I know the answer though c,: *So, would it be wise to ask (a/the) breeder you’re purchasing from for a video of the gecko (close up with/out different perspectives to see the whole body) to check on it’s health or other things?* Most likely you wouldn’t need to with bigger and pretty well known (for good things, of course)- I’m just a cautious person, and I really want to make sure that if I ever do end up getting one from a breeder, that I know exactly what I’m getting into, if anything at all. (like the bone disease, or a missing limb from shed, etc.) (tbh though, i’d probably still get the gecko if it had an issue, as i don’t think I’d have the heart to turn it down- qnq i have almost always known people had reptiles as pets, but i didn’t realize how exciting and cool it could be to have them, until I got my gecko, Sushi. I usually get discouraged, or it feels just like another cat or dog, but I’ve had her for months, and I still can’t help but feel excited to see my girl poke her head out of her hides. I finally found my passion, and it’s thanks to you. i also think i found what career i want to follow; an exotic vet.
