My crestie is really noisy at night. She always walks on the wire mesh roof and that makes loads of noise and when she isn't doing that she's making her coconut swing and bang against the glass. She whistles to herself quite often but that's not annoying it's just cute.

thanks :) she actually laid 2 eggs - well 1 egg then a few days later basically yolk. However from what i can see her poop has gone back to normal, so maybe it was the eggs messing the poop up after all.

My two geckos noticeable traits. The younger one (Lazari/Lazarus) is the smartest but is very aggressive, It took me months to calm him down unlike the older one. My older Leopard gecko (Lizari/Lizarus) is pretty dumb/not aware of her surroundings most of the time but is very friendly. Never seen her even lift her tail or hiss slightly at all.

I think mine likes the texture of hair... Aaand, being a pray animal~ I think they kinda like getting to high spots so they can see things better (like to be "on the lookout for danger") from what they know is a safe spot (cause mom or dad will protect them)!!!

Love this video! It's just so cute and relaxed, you put effort into it ya know! Also thank you so much for staying super active in the comments :') not many youtubers care to even look in their comments section sometimes :( Or even interact with their fans. So atm I have three leopard geckos, one I have to give away ( Don't worry her new owner keeps good care of her leos! ). Simply because my sister let my grandmother buy her a leo when my little sister didn't actually want her... >:( So I had to take in her neglected leo who is VERY VERY sassy :'). Anyways I mentioned my leos because my male who is mixed with carrot tail and wild type, and my 100% Carrot tail both look really just.. their coloring looks all dark instead of bright and healthy looking. Is that just a trait the carrot tails carry? Because my friend's carrot tail does the same exact thing :(

My crested gecko recently turned lethargic and had no energy and I was wondering why, then I realised the heat mat stopped working so I re plugged it and now he/she is just starting to to eat their food again and be more active This also effected their shed as there was no humidity to help them so I had to get the stuck shed off, the first time I had to help he/she shed

ah thats interesting. I usually prefer to use either a ceramic heat emitter or deep heat projector with a crestie as it heats up a larger space, but a heat mat can work, just make sure its controlled by a thermostat :)

When I was a "new" Crested Gecko owner I used to see my Crested Gecko shed. But now that I'm experienced with 2 Crested Geckos & a Gargoyle I *never* see them shed. I just "guess" when they are pale looking they might shed soon, and if they feel super soft like velvet or go on the glass more I assume the shed. But I never see them mid-shed, or find any skin.

Avoid chain petstores. Check out reptile expos and Craigslist. Look for reputable local petstores and breeders. Check morph market or faunasclassified, just research the breeder before buying. Avoid BHB, underground reptiles, LLL, backwater reptiles, and cb reptiles
