You know you picked the right color for the Sedona when it matches the dirt on the tires.

I'd enjoy a future follow-up video about how the terrain and trails in Bentonville influence your bike choices and impact your personal stable.

Man, that's a lot of bikes. I have four (road, fully rigid hardtail, enduro fully and dj) and I already can't ride them as much as I'd like. I'd say you're on the verge of being called a collector 😅

Nice collection, you already made me think about getting a hardtail again (currently I have only Gravel bikes). IF you ever wanted to use the hoods position, move them way more up. They should be horizontal or minimal (!) upwards, so you cannot slip forward. In case you cannot reach the brakes then in drops position, the bars may be to low. Compare drop bar MTBs from Salsa or Bombtrack, these have less saddle elevation.

I absolutely love this content and the detailed explanation of how you built up your whips. I have never gone shorter than 170mm cranks but I will be going 165 or 160 on one of my hardtail just to see what the “big deal” is all about. Plus it gives me and excuse to buy some new cranks.

What a beautiful fleet. All of them are so good looking and incredibly built up. The Sedona is eye candy. I didn't think you would let go of the Spot Rocker.

I miss the Banshee Paradox V3 that you custom painted. It intrigued me as an aluminum frame with compliance. You must have parted ways with it at some point. Well, with the Binary Maniac and the Stanton Sedona, and others, something had to give.

When you get healthy I think you'll love the Ryve 115 on most Bentonville trails. I rode my Gen 1 version there last year and it was a lot of fun. There were a few features (mainly drops with flat landings) I avoided since I have mine setup for lighter trail riding. Although I still sent a few of the progression drops in the skills area. Trying to have a quiver with optimal overlap is definitely a challenge. I've settled on 4 mtn bikes including my e-bike, plus two drop-bar bikes. While I also come from a BMX background, I have also done a lot of road riding over the last 30+ years, so I prefer a road bike with more traditional racing geometry and fit over a gravel bike. Gravel bikes often feel uncomfortable for some reason - specifically the flared bars.

14:00 Maybe it has to do with strength and tube diameter avaibility? Nicolai claims that they went for thicker 30.9 sest tube instead of larger thinner seat tube, thus stronger. Maybe it's the same here?

Nice video. I built a wildcat v3 in the spring, the frames were on sale . As much as i like hardtails , my knees and ankles couldn’t handle rough rides anymore ( i still have my fat bike and my dj as a hardtail ) . I love aggressive short travel bikes , the wildcat is perfect for my local trails and can handle big bike park days out in the mountains.

Greay video, I really enjoyed seeing your stable! Most interested by the RSD and Spot. Im super happy with my current hardtail (Team Marin) but thinking about a change in the full sus department (Fluid FS). That spot looks awesome! If you can store them all, you can never really have too many bikes . 😉

That vintage XTR rear derailleur only weighs like 230 grams. It's ridiculous. I'd love to try one with a 1x conversion with hollow BB, light weight crankset with 8 speed narrow-wide chain ring (if such a thing exists), and find a light 8 speed cassette to boot. I think those things alone would shave some major weight from an old bike. A modern 1x10/1x11 groupset from Shimano is fun and all but not exactly light.
