Nice one Oleg, some great watches in the collection. It's great to see some G-Shocks in there, especially the 5610 square, although I've had mine for a long time I really bonded with it last year when I needed some hospital surgeries and health issues. My G-shocks turned into there own collection as I didn't stop at two. The BB58 is nice to see as well and I have to agree that this is a modern classic of the 58's even though that sounds odd. Like you I wear my watches and yes they get scratches but that for me is part of the journey..... although that first scratch really annoys me for a little while but I move on. Nice one Oleg. The things I particularly like are : (1) How your connection to your watches is all about relationships; whether it be the relationship you have forged with it through use during memorable times or whether it is about your relationship with the person who gifted it to you. Clearly your sense of worth/value goes far beyond the financial. (2) That you use your watches! All of them, irrespective of monetary value, show the scars of everyday wear. That this is even worth commenting on is frustrating to me, 'cause it highlights how some in this hobby are more fashionista and investor than watch enthusiast. Some cracking pieces in there Oleg. Congrats mate.

With all the respect, Chaika is not ukranian watch and not ukranian plant. It was situated in town of Uglich, which is about 200 km north-east from Moscow. No politics here, just decided you would be interested to know. Actually, it is soviet watch, that would be correct. Plant doesn't exist nowadays.

Nice collection! But Chaika (Чайка) it is not Ukrainian watch. It is Uglich watch factory (Volga region, Russia), your watch was made in Soviet Union in Uglich but nowadays this factory still exists and produces luxury watch (with gold and diamonds). And name Chaika (Чайка in translation “seagull”) for this watch was related to Valentina Tereshkova (first woman in Space), it was her nickname. And this watch was produced in 1963 in honour of first woman in space.
