Orochimaru is the man that became a myth. At this point, orochimaru is sort of like a diety that does good or evil at a whim. I think it's quite fitting and realistic. In reality we also have men like that that have done so much evil and yet so much good that makes humanity in general, over look all their atrocities

This is why he’s my favorite character, the most knowledgeable of all jutsu, conducts human experiments, curse marks, Edo tensei, immortality, regenerative abilities, switches bodies, has every chakra nature, Triple rashimon, Zetsu body , Manda summoning, paralysis, 1000 Snake jutsu, Triple striking shadow snake, he’s so unique, cool and just an overall well written and interesting character.

The reanimation technique is amazing and I don’t understand why some people don’t like it. It’s not that powerful but it’s just dangerous enough to fuck with you like necromancy that’s all it is.reanimated corpses of powerful Magi and military veterans, but they did die so they can die again or be captured or sealed away. Really cool idea loved it.

I still remember the mermaid episode. I think that was one of the filler arc that i like to watch. The girl got fucked over by everyone just because she got scaly skin. Its not really that great but hey, at least we can see a little bit of anko in action.

It is never said in the manga that Danzō contributed to the Wood Release experiments. The woman was not Orochimaru's first vessel. Other vessels are shown later on in his mind-scape and are also mentioned in Itachi Shinden. Orochimaru obtained Kabuto's powers/knowledge when he absorbed his chakra back from him, so he was likely using a version/variant of Kabuto's Edo Tensei. Jūgo's kekkei genkai actually led Orochimaru to Ryūchidō, not the other way around. Orochimaru's juinjutsu is specifically said to cause the victim to eventually seek him out/become subservient to him (possibly as a part of the "madness"), hence it also being called his collar. Shin's primary facet is the fact he will never reject foreign implants, which seemingly allowed Orochimaru to culture so many artificial Sharingan across his body without typical issues stemming from non-Uchiha using the Sharingan, like Kakashi.

Yeah it never was stated in the manga, but I go by the "Anime's canon unless it contradicts the manga" interpretation. By first, I mean the first vessel that we knew about. Since he has to switch bodies every 3 years, id make sense that he had a vessel before her, but the previous vessel was never shown to us, not even in the mind-scape. I know that he obtained Kabuto's powers & was watching the events unfold through Anko, but idk if he absorbed all of Kabuto's knowledge too. He could've just seen how Kabuto improved his ET & just followed his method. That's true, but Orochimaru met Jugo himself after failing to achieve sage mode due to his imperfect body True Also true
