@@Ismael-kc3ry what was your other option? While I don't really agree with destroying the world, that's literally too far, what I would do is use the Rumbling to destroy the military zones at least. Yes, there would be civilian casualties, but compared to what happened it would be minimal. Destroy the Marleyan power bases, then stop the Rumbling, make walls again, make it Eldian territory and poof. The odds are basically 70-30 for Eldia, the world won't attack, peace achieved

Eren was always the one behind all this. He is the incarnation of the freedom of Eldia, he was the nationalist one, he is the one who choose. In the SNK story, the 2 most important character are King Fritz the first one and Eren. One enslave his people with a curse for power, the other free his people with the power of the curse. Sad that the ending is not Ysayama original ending. Still a masterpiece.

@@anjaneyasreetrout2444 That "original" ending was discarted as soon as the manga became a hit and Isayama didn't have to end it prematurely, in said ending they never even got to reach the basement. The manga ending is the one he always intended, now for the anime... It's possible he plans to make a very different ending there considering all the clues that suggest the anime could be a sequel/different timeline to the manga.
