BestInSlot I’m not sure the deluxe edition dinosaurs will count toward the base game count of 40 dinosaur mark since that’d be a bit unfair to anyone unable to buy the deluxe edition. So I think we have 22 confirmed base game dinos and 5 confirmed dlc, and I’m guessing we’ll see Stygimoloch, Carnotaurus, Allosaurus, Baryonyx, possibly Pachyrhinosaurus, and just maybe Microceratus base game reveals coming in the future or at release since they all appear in JW:FK. And if it’s anything like JPOG I’d be on the lookout for at least 1 more hadrosaur and additional apex carnivores

I just love the colour of the archaeornithomimus, and I'm for sure going to pick it over the galli. Also BiS, do you think they are going to add the corythosaurus. Cause I mean the role of the hardrosaur with a round crest, is currently pretty much filled by the edmontosaurus And I may be alone with this opinion, but I welcome the new Deinonychus with open arms, after taking some time thinking about it and looking at it, I kinda really enjoy the design.

I'd be surprised if it isn't there, there seems to be a thing about having 3-4 dinosaurs per 'group'. Like we have 3 ceratopsids, 3 ornithimimids, and so far 2 hadrosaurs, it'd be weird if there wasn't another.

BestInSlot the question is if it stays at 3 ceratopsids, cause pachyrhinosaurus as well sinoceratops seem to be a common dino in FK . On the other hand wuehrosaurus and minmi (in my opinion both are likely, due to the placing of the dig sites in JWE) would complete the stego-trio and the ankylo-trio, which would support your theory

Hey BIS, here's some helpful information: Based on various gameplay videos (best shown in the first 5 seconds of Riots), the genome library from the demo build had 30 slots. Of those 30 slots there were 22 herbivores (indicated by leaf icons) and 8 carnivores (indicated by meat icons). Now, I'm positive that this list will expand given that this was in the demo build, and I have reason to believe this doesn't include the deluxe edition because if it did, there would have been 9 slots for carnivores. So for now we know that there is 22 herbivores and 8 carnivores not including the deluxe edition for sure, and that should help narrow speculation for the first 30 animals.

Well, isn't it natural to have more herbivores than carnivores? Think of the balance of lions, cheetahs, and hyenas vs giraffes, rhinos, elephants, hippos, gazelles, zebras, etc.

It's the way the food chain works. Animals are less abundant then plants, so an ecosystem can't support as many meat-eaters as plant-eaters.

But the dinosaurs were originally part of a real ecosystem, so it's only natural that they'd follow such a trend. In any case, having a ton of carnivores in a park has its own issues too, so there's a game design reason to limit their quantity.

One of the best things about this game is the variety in dinosaurs! We got the staples that everyone loves: Stegosaurus, Triceratops, T-Rex. Homages to the films: Brachiosaurus, Dilophosaurus, Gallimimus. Lesser known dinosaurs for 'dinosaur fans': Maiasaura, Majungasaurus, Chasmosaurus. Plus, unlike most games, they weren't afraid to add similar dinosaurs like Struthiomimus and Archaeornithomimus and Kentrosaurus, Crichtonsaurus and suchomimus - who're all similar to much more famous dinosaurs and could probably have been left out but weren't! Some others I'd like to see still for various reasons: - Allosaurus (A staple carnivore in most games!) - Diplodocus (One of the most famous sauropods ever!) - Therizinosaurus (Very different to the current roster of dinosaurs) - Protoceratops (Be cool to have a small ceratopsian as the current three are all on the larger side) - Dryosaurus (very few small herbivores so far other than the 'mimus' trio - Deinosuchus (just because I think prehistoric crocs would be awesome in this game!) - Carnotaurus (Unique carnivore compared to others in the game, famous too) Of course there are loads of others I want that are less practical and highly unlikely (corythosaurus, Gastonia etc.) but these are the main ones xD

My prediction of the missing dinosaurs: 1.-Albertosaurus (many dig sites in North America). I don't think there's a only one tyrannosaurid in the game 2.-Allosaurus (very popular dino and a lot of dig sites where it was). Sure it will be in the game. 3.-Iguanodon 4.-Carcharodontosaurus (same dig site as Spinosaurus) 5.-Giganotosaurus (Candelero's formation in Argentina is in the game). 6.-Ouranosaurus (same dig site as Spinosaurus and Carcha, like JPOG). 7.-Therizinosaurus. Unfortunately, a few dinosaus will be by Fallen Kingdom DLC. I supose: Carnotaurus, Baryonix and Indoraptor. I have no idea how many missing dinosaurs will be in Asia. There's a few dig sites there.

Well Crichtonsaurus is from China so there's one. Sinoceratops likely won't be in the initial release but it could be in said Fallen Kingdom DLC (which I bet would be released at least a couple weeks after launch). Allosaurus would probably be in the FK addon too, since it's also debuting in the movie

Allosaurus should be in the initial release. There are no excuses to don't put it in because there are a few dig sites where Allosaurus lived in USA and Africa. Carnotaurus is excusable because there isn't it dig site, but not with Allosaurus. It would inexcusable of Frontier. It would be too disappointing.

I hope as this game progresses and becomes well on their own feet, that they venture thought new areas of building and animals. A good idea that if modding was implemented along the line is a sort Ice-age theme for the game. Still, this game is by far one of the most anticipated of 2018 and I can't wait.

frankly, it's probably safe to assume that most/all dinosaurs that appeared on-screen and in-motion in all five films will be appearing in JW:Evolution, so we should be expecting to see new additions from Fallen Kingdom as well, since this IS a tie-in game, after all. that means Allosaurus, Baryonyx, and Carnotaurus are almost certainly going to be included as well. the real mystery is which others from the franchise that AREN'T as well known are going to be included, and which others besides--i never would've expected Crichtonsaurus to be in, for example (though it IS a bit obvious, in retrospect)

I'm afraid that we won't get Compsognathus make it into the game due to its tiny size but I'm still hoping for it they can actually create a special paddocks for the tiny ones also wishing for Rexy to have a complete different roaring pose from all the other Theropods during incubation scene cause she is the Icon of JP/JW movies in general.To get various breakable ornamental items like Tree Logs, various color & different in shape stones to place in our dinos paddocks & to have those Gallimimus & all the other Theropod Herbivores to able to jump over these tree logs when playing or simply running away from a chasing predators only the predators like Rexy get to break it in half looking at something like that cause will be so Nostalgic.

How cool would it be if they also had a separate, more scientifically accurate velociraptor to go with the movie version. All tiny, cute yet still deadly Would also love to see a Utahraptor with a beautiful coat of feathers.

Will this be a game that is constantly updated? Genesis couldn’t because it was restricted to a disk. But will this update and have things like new dinosaurs added or gameplay or anything if they do?

in an interview, a dev revealed there are 30+ dinos in the game so they're definitely hiding some of them.

BestinSlot do you know if the rangers will be edible in the game? Because in the reveal trailer they did get eaten but I’m pretty sure i heard one of the creators saying dinosaurs can’t touch them?
