What gets me is how our shows are cracked down so hard on nudity that there has to be a warning. It’s like if they show a naked butt or some breasts and it’s like there has to be a special warning about a God-given body part. That is a big thing annoys me about censorship. On this note, I also would like to mention the ways that swear words get covered up on other channels. FX is pretty good about letting the folks say what they need to say.

I miss when PG used to actually mean something, "Parental Guidance". 12/13+ movies now only allow you to say the f word once, but PG movies back then said it a bunch of times and flat out showed a lotta blatant material. Our censors make no sense. In the UK, at 9PM, you can show damn there anything, but over here in the US at 10PM to even 1AM, you still are restricted from doin' certain things on TV. So much for freedom and free speech! Heads torn off, disrespecting groups of people, murder and torture is completely fine, but you'll be Goddamned if you show a woman's nipple over here!

I just spotted a variant of the FX TV-MA Warning which the “MA” is replaced by 14. I found it on an FXM airing of Wildflower (1991). It goes like this “The following program is rated TV-14-V. FX's TV rating differ from other channels (IFC, for example) as there are some PG-13 films with TV-MA (usually L or LV) such as The Last Knight, Ghostbusters, and Spider-Man Homecoming. The Greatest Showman has TV-14 as well, which is kinda rare for a PG-rated film. And most of these will always say "edited for runtime/content".
