More greatness from Kai. This video shows just how FUN windsurfing can be. It's amazingly fun to be able to motorize surfing. The feeling of dropping in at those speeds and DRIVE a bottom turn is amazing. With windsurfing, you can drop in way behind the peak/takeoff point, and either slash that lip, or hit it and FLY! There's a section in front of you? No problem, hit it from behind and then POWER around it! Windsurfing on waves, takes very specific conditions, that when it's on, IT'S ON!!! But when it's not on, you go do all that other fun stuff Kai and Ridge love to do. It's just one of the many ways to enjoy what nature has to give. Keep livin the dream, boys! I'm 68 and been there, done that. But boy do I enjoy watching you guys continue on, way beyond what we did! BTW Kai, you're right, John would love windsurfing like this!

The windsurfing in this year's Aloha Classic was outstanding. And the drone footage was world-class excellent. Oh, and I have to mention Kai Flycatcher Katchadourian's coverage and commentary during the contest. Really fun to watch...and feel, if you know the feeling. There's nothing like windsurfing, esp. wave-sailing. I think it's pretty obvious that Kai Lenny is the heir apparent to waterman Laird Hamilton. He excels at all watersports, no question. Stay stoked. Thanks for sharing.

I’ve never seen turns like this before-this happens when someone at the pinnacle of all watersports breaks down the walls between them. We are truly witnessing history in the making, and it’s a moment that may not come again in our lifetimes. From raising the bar at the Eddie, Jaws, Nazare, and Mavericks to charging WSL events at Sunset, getting barreled on his SUP at Jaws, setting records with foil crossings from Maui to Oahu, and redefining wavesailing at the Aloha-oh, and let’s not forget welcoming his third child along the way, and I can't even follow all the rest of things-Kai is inviting us all to the extraordinary heights of human potential.
