Wasn't expecting you to react to this, but this album completely blew me away and is still my favorite Metalcore project to date. One of the most emotionally heavy and musically heavy albums I've heard

The album cover is actually a picture of a solar eclipse taken in 1919 that had colors inverted.

The high-energy guitar riffs and thundering drums make this song an absolute powerhouse.

Fantastic reaction, I love seeing you really appreciate something I love 🙌🏻 I’d highly recommend the album before “Lost together // Lost Forever” powerful messages and awesome musicianship - I personally prefer it to All out gods

Don't know if you were clued in while reacting, but the drummer of the band, Dan Searle, is the brother of the guitarist Tom who passed away. Their sound in their 2 most recent albums after Holy Hell shifts away from the more traditional metalcore sound into something more experimental for them with more rock elements. The band has gotten a fair amount of hate from a very vocal minority of fans for the change in sound, saying some really fucked things to the extent of things along the lines of "Tom would've hated this" or "your band died along with tom", etc. etc. Dan & Sam (the vocalist) have said that it's really hard for them emotionally to keep singing songs off this album about their friend succumbing to cancer and writing songs about grief and just general bitterness. Personally, having listened to a majority of their music, I've really enjoyed their newer stuff.

I think there’s a moment in the Holy Hell video where Arkardos tells me about the drummer being Tom’s brother! I’ve also heard a more recent album of theirs and enjoyed it as well, although not as much as these 2. But I completely understand the shift in sound and had fun listening to it regardless! Those other 2 videos are coming soon, thanks for commenting!

You should react to "Alivë" by Yeat. Personally i think its very underrated and the songs are unique and fire.

I'm not sure what that chatter was saying. Tom, and the whole of architects was out spoken about not believing in god and about how damaging religion is in many parts of the world, especially america at the time. Tom lost his religion long ago, my interpretation of the song is about him almost wanting to believe in something as he's dying out. Struggling with wanting there to be something more after he dies, but knowing that he's never believed in anything like that

Can't watching it while you're skiping every song.
