All Outward "Mini-Bosses" In The Abrassar Desert & How To Defeat Them (Definitive Edition)

Outward Definitive Edition brought us many new things. One of the most noticeable changes is the addition of numerous mini-bosses. These are really cool enemies that for the most part do not respawn and pose some sort of unique challenge to the player. I included all the mini-bosses that were already in the game as well as the new ones so as to see what kinds of things you may want to fight. I really love the fact that these were added into the game as they make it so much more challenging and make the caves feel more alive than they used to.
Outward is an RPG/survival game that allows you take to make an almost infinite number of builds. Melee, magic, archery, and even traps are scattered across this harsh world in the form of skills. You must have a large amount of money to purchase these skills, but luckily the monsters drop extremely valuable items. The game has been harshly criticized due to how realistic and difficult it is. This is nice to know since I've neglected exploring most dungeons since the vanilla Outward didn't have these mini-bosses so I just felt like plundering the areas for loot with little to no resistance. Now there's a general interest for me and my buddy to go into them and see how good our builds stack up against these tougher enemies.

Really, really cool, the Abrassar is a very cool region, it was almost like Harmattan, once a sprawling, peaceful area, it is now a horrible, hot desert..

Great man thanks alot this video is great. Btw. do know that mace infusion can block also block with it normal attack from shell horror,ghost,shrimp long range attack and close range lightening blast.

I just got to the desert in my playthrough and then swiftly without remorse got deleted by a pack of wild bugs I'm not sure what they're called but they gave me bleed. oh but trust me I'm not complaining I'm going back and I will defeat them eventually

Both Luke and the Guardian were in the base game, but everything else is new.

Har ,well you could try showing the challenges one can have if defeated by one of these " mini bosses" Leads to about 3 to 4 defeats and anything up to 14 days lost. Yes more areas to cancel off my to do list. Just tried your Immortal Defender build. Could not for the life of me obtain the wolf medic armor. (40 in game days) Farming the elemental 's failed after the first round. Light at the clock tower went out. Each day I would check clock tower and the area where they re spawn together, nothing. So I spent snow season, a full no snow season and still no light at the clock tower. I tried purchasing the wolf mage armor from Philoto to see if he would replace the sold wolf mage armor with the wolf medic armor, but sales for the mage armor was soaring so each mage armor sold was replaced with another one. I gave up & started a new game.

Sorry to hear that. The Clock tower puzzle is the most unreliable. You will have to re-enter the town and exit until the fire comes back. For some reason it just doesn't switch colors sometimes and will turn off like that. Not my favorite puzzle to be honest. You can also get the armor from ornate chests but the drop is kinda low. Good luck in the new build. Sorry this one didn't work out.

The only sad thing is that on Xbox there are no pick up text for enemies so you can't see what the new enemies are called
