My opinions on the songs: 1. Team Galactic: It’s got pretty sick electric guitar, base, and let me just say... THAT ORGAN / ELECTRIC KEYBOARD IS O R G A S M I C 2. Team Plasma: That’s a pretty sick beat if I do say so myself. It reminds me a little of a carnival. The theme also holds some nostalgia from when I brought my DS to my chorus preformance and got a crowd while waiting by playing the game. 3. Team Flare: Sure, they’re underrated, hated, whatever. But, I can say they have a kickass theme. This was my first Pokemon game ever, and X and Y surely taught me well. The theme has some sort of Christmas-y feel to it, to me. 4. Neo-Plasma: Wowza!?! This is more of a step up from the last theme. Plasma is back- and this time they mean business! Kind of unsuiting for a grunt though, and the theme isn’t as catchy now. 5. Team Rocket: Huh! I like the beat, just it sounds very... old. I know this was the first game, but it sounded very uncomfortable and well, unsure. The melody mainly puts this song in the place it’s in. 6. Aether Foundation: Plot twist time! The melody is very free, but to me it also sounds very experimental, and well, again unsure. One thing, however, is how well it used the instruments to it’s advantage. By now, you would have thought that GameFreak would have run out of ideas, but this piece shows that GameFreak is very creative. 7. Team Magma/Aqua: I may be biased, since I went through some rough spots while playing RSE, but the beat is drab and meaningless. The melody is too similar to the boss’ for my liking, and it’s just... dull. No offense, it’s still pretty nice! 8. Team Skull: Ouch... this made me feel uncomfortable to say the least! Keep in mind, these are my opinions! If you differ, you can tell me your list. All of these songs hold a special place in my heart, so don’t start a flame war.

i mean the details. team rocket uniform is just plain black with grey boots. team skull's design is more complex and has a lot more personality to it imo. it's not like gangstas/rappers/whatherever dress in a more complex way than mafia members. it's the design. just look a the logos! even the logos are much more creative in the last gens, team rocket simply has an "R" without anything else to it.

Complexity doesn't mean better. I take a look at Rocket's and Skull's uniforms and choose Rocket because it is an actual uniform compared to Skull's which looks ridiculous. Aether uniform is shit. Props for the pockets, tho.

This is my personal list of worst to best, feel free to disagree but just know that I do not care one bit: 8. Aether Foundation, menacing? yes. good? ..not really.. 7. Team Skull is aight 6. Team Rocket - dont get me wrong, I FUCKING LOVE THIS SONG, it's just that I think all of the other themes make it kinda pale in comparison 5. Aqua/Magma - once again, don't get the wrong idea, it brings me physical pain to put this song so low cause it's pr bad ass and I also grew up with Gen 3 4./3. Honestly a PERFECT TIE between Galactic and Plasma. Both are total bangers man 2. Team Flare - the guitar is *smacks lip like Italian*, those synths really give off that evil vibe, especially with that thumpin' rhythm; super catchy 1. Team Plasma Neo - god this song is so good, they took a song that was already a hell of a banger and made it so much better, Gen 5 songs always have the sickest fucking beats man, I can't get enough of the part at 15:12!! Edit - Plasma Neo also has the coolest looking outfits out of all of the teams

gen 7 was basically "o.k how can we fix how badly gen 6 babied everything?" while still having an even longer tutorial. But at least it was harder, and had a much better story. plus the evil teams and rivals actually had a use

It's nice to know how many different battle themes they are even in the old school Game Boy era. :p I guess minus portability though, Pokemon first started fairly late in gaming history, past the NES, SNES, and around the N64 era for Nintendo games... so I guess they tried out some new things. :p
