It's funny to know team Rocket had to wait a new generation to actually get a unique battle theme and then in Gen 3 with FireRed and LeafGreen they just have to use the trainer battle theme all over again, TO LATER AGAIN use their unique battle theme on HGSS... and lose again on the Let's Go games. They're the most unfortunate team I ever seen.

Obviously Magma/Aqua and Galactic have my faves, but I admit, I preferred the first Galactic theme more than the BDSP version; I want to say it was due to how the instruments weren't so "toned down" that I really loved listening to it, but the energy is still present in the remake as well so it's not a total flop to me. But Rainbow Rocket and Neo Plasma are also super awesome and I love how chaotic the Plasma themes are with all the various instruments. Team Star actually really surprised me with how awesome the theme was! I super enjoyed fighting them.

team flare is the best, or better, lysandre is. Lysandre is by far the best team leader and human character in pokemon, with only guzma, n, cyrus and volo getting close. Every other human is 💩🤡🤖👾 I know you were trying to "b-but everyone says this so its true!!!!😭", but you had the misfortune to encounter Glank on your nothing path. Lysandre is the best, strongest man in Pokemon, with the most perfect morals (no, its not N, N has frailer morals than even Cyrus and Volo, hell, possibly even Cogita). But their music isnt the best though, thats team skull's. Oh also what I find hilarious about the sheeparoo on lysandre being "le bad chatacterment:)", is that his greatness is described even already in his NAME, that everybody misses to understand lmao. In my language's translation they emphasize the meaning of his morals in his name even better. ELISIO! By disagreeing with Lysandre and deeming.him "le nonsense turant:(😢", you are disagreeing with all of ancient greek mythology, with every ancient hero/godly figure, but thats not because you chose to by your inexistent morals, thats due to you not even understanding it distantly. Team Rocket 00:01: 我第一次帶著Haerin去約會散步的時候看到GO火箭隊手下在外面販賣水煎包，而且不用對戰就能買到的那種，恰好我肚子餓到咕嚕咕嚕叫了，本想嘗一口但被Haerin阻攔了，也許他們是被逼迫的，這時經過一家新開的旺仔拉麵店的時候Haerin想要吃拉麵，於是我跟著Haerin的腳步一起去吃拉麵，結完帳後我看到旺仔吉祥物坐在椅子上哭泣，我想他被經理虐待了，Haerin見狀就跑過去安慰他，但他的心情得到了好轉，也許旺仔不是每天工作不認真，而是拉麵店的經理太沒有良心了，竟然動不動就拿旺仔撒氣，簡直是喪心病狂、毫無悔意、卑鄙無恥、態度惡劣、作惡多端、我真想去消基會投訴那十分惡毒的經理呀，沒想到投訴成功讓我手舞足蹈了起來 02:04: 還有一次是minji突然問我不知道午餐吃什麼的時候看到有人在叫賣小籠包就跑過去查看，結果又是火箭隊手下他們，一看就來氣，昨天晚上明明已經被我打跑了怎麼來賣東西，冷靜過後才想起買外賣的事就乾脆直接進去買外賣一個小籠包回去，誰知道他們的態度讓我大吃一驚，只見手下收到錢和找我錢之後給了一個肉包子跟一個韭菜包子之後就逃走了！而我並沒有要把他們追回來，而是心滿意足的離開了 04:08: 我最後一次跟員瑛和Liz一起去彩虹火箭隊總部開的那家布萊梅咖啡館喝下午茶的時候是在七夕情人節當天，而且布萊梅咖啡館是在晚上3點33分的時候就提前熄燈了，還不是因為彩虹火箭隊的老大黑烏雲每次賭錢的時候都是欠了一屁股的債務，不只房租還未繳清就被房東給掃地出門，還被債主和幾個手下追著打，這讓我傷透了腦筋 Team Magma/Aqua 06:35: 還有我跟員瑛和舒華一起去海生館看海豚表演，順便去看護士鯊游來游去的時候看到有一個熊孩子在爭搶一個女人的包包，還有人在一旁大聲呼叫，我跟舒華直接衝上去使用一招水靈力和時間暫停將熊孩子給控制住了，我趁機將熊孩子手上的包包還給那個女人，然後再讓熊孩子自己一個人去餵鯊魚，接著我看到兩個女人的長相才知道原來是Minji跟Hanni 09:55: 我跟舒華回到家後就看到皮皮坐在茶几上看電視，電視新聞播報說有個小男孩因為搶Minji的包包被強行去餵鯊魚，那個小男孩正是熊孩子，在警方已經熊孩子的時候已經成了一具沒血沒肉的骷髏，因為那些肉早已被飢餓的鯊魚給一掃而光了！看在眼裡的皮皮直呼熊孩子活該 Team Galactic 13:15: 我記得我跟liz一起去sogo百貨公司參加帕路奇犽生日派對的時候亡者歸來的熊孩子回來了，熊孩子二話不說把liz的貓耳朵給拽下來玩，我走過去好心提醒他，不但被他的熊媽給唸了一頓，還被熊爸給胖揍了，這讓怒不可遏，直到我看到俞真在用點過的香煙對著一隻在吃罐罐的虎斑貓搓屁股就有了個大膽的想法 15:44: 另外一次是我在熱海市的甜蜜男孩裡表演嗯嘛的時候除了Liz跟Rei和員瑛還很淡定的看著表演之外，其他成員都忍不住噴了一桌子的鼻血！代表我表演的新歌讓人跌破眼鏡，我不知道韓國人跟日本人也都有噴鼻血的時候，這當我愧疚不已時一身銀河隊衣服的女服務員Yena手持招牌抹布走了過來將桌上的鼻血給擦乾淨了！這讓我忍不住喜極而泣的對著恩人的手狂親表示感激不盡 Team Plasma 18:12: 更好笑的是當電漿隊的其中一個手下跑來我家對我學狗叫的時候我就忍不住笑了出來，以為我家來了一隻藏獒呀！看上去一定很凶，但聽起來就非常好笑 21:21: 還有是在員瑛將我從大老虎的血盆大口中救出來的時候我心跳有多快嗎？如果再慢一點我就要被大老虎當成晚餐吃進肚子裡消化了！ Team Flare 24:39: 我還記得跟閃焰隊對戰是在Yena為了報答我特地點一份必勝客給我吃我都忍不住熱淚盈眶，事情是這樣的，我因為在Yena的右臉上塗了藥膏後害羞的表情就坐在茶几上看著電視，接著我看到一半就聽到有人按電鈴，我透過閉路電視查看原來是一位必勝客外賣員，，這才知道是Yena為了報答我的暖心舉動，特地叫了比薩給我吃，我看了感動的熱淚盈眶，吃飽喝足後就被皮皮發現了！皮皮唸我一頓後就讓我去洗澡了，這讓我一臉黑人問號又生氣，但聽到皮皮的手機鈴聲後氣就完全消了！接著我在洗澡的時候就聽到皮皮的慘叫聲就知道皮皮又被哥哥打一針鎮定劑了！ Team Skull 27:03: Sun / Moon / Ultra Sun / Ultra Moon Aether Foundation 29:56: Sun / Moon / Ultra Sun / Ultra Moon Team Yell 32:18: Sword/Shield Macro Cosmos 35:01: Sword/Shield Storming Rose Tower Team Star 37:27: Scarlet/Violet 41:24: Scarlet/Violet Base Raid

Because if you really think about it it’s not the theme of the villain, but the theme of you and Hop on your way through the tower. They never got an official theme, but this music is only played during the only part where you battle those grunts, so it kinda counts.

Team Rocket/Rainbow rocket man. They really mean their buisness and made them real antagonists for something like pokemon. The following teams were just as serious but they just don't hit as right, specially when rainbow rocket came thru. Team skull comes as a close 2nd for me because althought they were goofy, it really put into perspective, that a lot of them were kind of like a messed up family, meant to keep to eachother for support and that hit real different for pokemon. I feel like team star tried to recreate that but the story mostly being there for the leaders rather then the group. I really hope these groups show up again in some way

00:01 第一次跟火箭隊手下對戰的時候說昨天段考日，事情是這樣的，我在段考完回家被一隻貓跟蹤了！這過程早已被手下用單眼像機給拍了下來 02:04 第二次跟火箭隊手下對戰是在去年的感恩節當天，我看到員瑛因為呂老師不給獎勵就哭了也是非常生氣，員瑛她明明什麼都沒做就遭到處罰，這也太惡毒了！我必須去教育局提告呂老師不公平對待自己的學生，被告後的呂老師坐在被告席上拒不認錯還用手指著我罵我王八蛋，這下讓我更生氣了！本想發飆但被Liz跟員瑛給抓住了手臂無法動彈 04:08 第三次跟火箭隊手下對戰是在法院開庭那天，我明明很生氣嘛，但正義法官也是毫不猶豫的判呂老師死刑，這對我來說是一個小確幸，但對呂老師來說是惡夢的開始，我想呂老師這下是真的BBQ 了！但這次不一樣的是我在後面的員瑛跟Liz總是有說有笑的跟我聊起了天 06:35 第四次跟熔岩隊手下對戰是在呂老師判死刑這天，我跟員瑛看到呂老師從牢房裡走出來並坐上了電擊椅，心想是時候該跟惡毒又不分青紅皂白的老師說再見了，最後當工作人員拉下桿子的時候呂老師終於在我跟員瑛面前離世了！看到這裡我心理特別的舒坦 09:15 第五次跟水行隊手下對戰是我跟員瑛和舒華在公園散步放飛自我的時候有一個陌生男子問我呂老師去哪裡了！我就回答去地獄了！誰知道那個陌生男子竟然是呂老師的丈夫，他曾經在公司因為不滿老闆扣薪水拿刀殺了老闆之後就逃到了國外的非洲去避避風頭！可惜的是在過海關的因為涉嫌攜帶毒品跟危險物品直接被上銬帶進了囚車裡 13:15 第六次跟銀河隊手下對戰是在大老虎過世這天我跟舒華第一次去木柵動物園的殯儀館參加大老虎的葬禮，我看到員瑛她們在喝著喜酒喜樂融融的樣子不像是在哭，我就好奇的問結果員瑛說出來的答案讓我哭笑不得，就著我跟員瑛和舒華在一旁祈禱著大老虎能夠在極樂世界過得非常好，不必為我們擔心害怕，我跟員瑛的惡夢終於結束了！ 15:44 第七次跟銀河隊手下對戰是在員瑛主動約我去參加睡衣派對的時候安狗狗突然跟Liz吵起來了！我好心去勸個架結果被Liz給打了一頓 18:12 第八次跟電漿隊手下對戰是舒華跟雨琦在網咖上夜班的時候，而我的身份是一名有正義感、做事很到位的夜間保安，時時刻刻都在觀察著兩位女打工仔的一舉一動，休息時我拿著一張昨天晚上老師發下來的段考考卷左看右看，似乎是在檢討自己最近在段考的時候考得如何是否作弊，而且我高興不起來的原因我終於找到了！就是監考老師因為心情不好就罵了我跟皮皮一頓，誤以為我跟皮皮考試作弊，通常去年段考的時候我跟皮皮和我哥哥都沒有作弊，是老師未找證據就胡說八道、血口噴人 21:21 第九次跟電漿隊手下對戰是在我中場休息的時候Haerin打電話給我，用貓語跟我說外面有我的包裹，我走出去打開門一看是純金麥克風，而且還是可以在上夜班的時候用來唱歌的就非常高興 24:39 第十次跟閃焰隊手下對戰是在上體育課的時候Haerin一直在我後面唱學貓叫，Haerin的貓叫聲和歌聲都讓我心跳加速、鼻血直流，還好Hanni眼疾手快用自己從褲兜裡拿出來的衛生紙幫我止住了鼻血，結果Haerin一個喵叫就讓我在跟minji羽球對打的時候從司令台上暈了過去，等我再次醒來發現自己在保健室裡的病床上 27:03 第十一次跟閃焰隊手下對戰是在洪棠生日當天，我跟大元因為在雞飛狗跳莊給小新一家表演捕魚歌的時候踩到地上的香蕉皮滑倒受傷了！剛好把小新跟小葵給逗笑了 29:56 第十二次跟以太基金會手下對戰是在端午節的時候我因為看到月亮的臉就開始想念鍾郁琛，不過郁琛現在過得很好，完全不用我繼續想念 32:18 第十三次跟吶喊隊手下對戰是在我跟忙內搖滾樂團第一次去台南的高爾夫球場跑客戶的時候子瑜坐在椅子上玩手遊，看起來很高興的樣子，直到子瑜突然大喊(我贏了！多賢，妳要留下來幫忙洗碗喔！)我好奇的走過去一看是子瑜竟然贏多賢了 35:01 第十四次跟宏觀宇宙隊手下對戰是在多賢幫忙其他洗碗的時候手不小心被罐頭劃破皮了！還對天花板大喊(救命啊啊啊啊！罐頭咬人了！)彩瑛聽了忍不住笑了兩聲 37:27 第十五次跟星星隊手下對戰是彩瑛生日當天，子瑜跟多賢送了彩瑛好多美勞用品當生日禮物，因為我觀察到彩瑛小時候很喜歡畫畫 41:24 最後一次跟星星隊手下對戰是小新幼稚園畢業這天在跟小新一起合唱北京兒童合唱團的祈禱跟啊牧場上綠油油，就是為了要懷念一下新加坡環球影城裡的史瑞克、功夫熊貓、馬達加斯加、喜羊羊與灰太狼、魔髮精靈、皮巴弟先生和薛曼、和怪獸大戰外星人

All of these theme's do a great job exeplifying their teams, like Team Rocket's sounds very shady, like all their underworld dealings, Aqua and Magma sound like Hoenn, so very weather themed, exactly as they are, Galactic sounds very open and spaced out, Plasma sound nefarious and evil, with the hints of desperation to the player, like you best better beat these guys or something screwy is going to happen, Flare sounds techy and evil, as they are, Skull sounds like the gang of punks they are with the rap/hip hoppy elements mixed in, Yell sounds very rock based because of Piers and Marnie, Star sounds like a group of kids fighting hard to stay together against all odds, and if we count Aether Paradise and Macro Cosmos, then Aether sounds very secretive and dastardly like "aha! Surprise attack!" And Macro sounds lighthearted and fun cause you're taking them on with Hop I guess?... If I had to rank them (IMO): #1. Team Rocket, gotta respect the OG especially when it's as cool sounding as it is #2. Team Star, Scarlet and Violet dropped the ball hard gameplay wise, but the music *SLAMMED*, especially all of the Star theme's #3. Team Plasma or Team Flare, I couldn't pick between them, they both sound appropriately evil with their own nuances and brilliant composition. #4. Team Aqua/Magma, I'm a nostalgia sucker for Gen 3, but regardless their theme is brilliant. #5. Team Yell, their theme is nice, but it's here when things begin to fall off for me, just like how this team just kinda sucked... #6. Team Galactic's theme just isn't involved enough and, compared to other Sinnoh tracks, it moves at a snails pace and feels SO slow. The others: Macro and Aether both are fun cool themes but they aren't really evil teams... They just kind of do dirty work for their boss, their motivations as a whole aren't evil, they're just doing their jobs, but if I raked the two, Aether wins hands down

I think it sounds pretty menacing when you think about what it means. The "macrocosm" is a fancy word for the universe, so in a sense Macro Cosmos could be interpreted as "everything the universe encompasses," which is a pretty bold name for a corporation that has basically taken over every aspect of Galar's capitalist society.

Worst to best: 12. Team Yell - Super Boring and annoying, not even evil 11. Team Star - Also boring and completely forgettable. 10. Macro Cosmos - Not bad, just not fleshed out enough 9. Team Flare - Only this high due to Lysandre in general. Otherwise, could be a lot better. 8. Finally a good evil team - Team Aqua. except their plans are super goofy. Good overall. 7. Team Magma is better, overall better leaders and the Land is cooler than the Sea 6. Aether Foundation - Really cool, their obsession with the Ultra Beasts make them really interesting 5. Team Plasma - Really good arc, N is a super cool character. 4. Team Skull - Hardcore, still in control of Po Town, which is crazy. 3. Team Galactic - A little silly but the simple goals of trying to wield Gods of Space and Time, plus the overall music and arc themselves make this not only so nostalgic for me but also really, really cool. 2. Team Rocket - The classics always rule. Team Rainbow Rocket shows just how ruthless the organization really is. 1. Neo Team Plasma - By far the most evil. Don’t care that Lysandre advocated for Genocide, Ghetsis canonically child abused a hopeless individual to use as a Puppet for his own goals and froze a city for fun. This group is literally a terrorist organization, and it’s executed so well.
