PeKoyo dynamics in this Season 2 Finale is kinda like some tragic anime story. Pekora first target in her Season 2 Finale campaign was Koyori. At the same time Suisei Team was at war with Matsuri Team, Pekora was raiding Koyori's base. But they ended up become a team. Later on, PeKoyo joined Suisei Team. But that just temporary. Pekora never really intended to be in Suisei Team for long. She targeted everyone since the very beginning after all. So she wrote a memo to Koyori, informed her that she will betray Suisei Team. And she wanted Koyori to join her. "Koyori, ituka uragiruzo koko" is what she said in that memo, which roughly means: "Koyori, at some point, I will betray them. (So, be prepared)." But Koyori, due to her clumsiness, failed to get that memo. (Pekora had to take back that memo before Suisei found it) When Pekora betrayed Suisei Team, Koyori asked Pekora, "You abandon me, Pekora-senpai?". Which Pekora responded, "Fool! I already tried to tell you with a memo! It's too late now!" Koyori looked everywhere for that memo, but never found it. She was conflicted. She really wanted to join Pekora against everyone. So, she tried to sneak into Pekora's base while Suisei Team was busy preparing for the raid. But before she got too close to her base, Pekora sniped her (Pekora shot everything that move). In the end, she decided to join the raid with everyone. When the war is over, Koyori finally found the memo Pekora left for her (in one of Pekora corpse). Of course, it was too late. But at least she knows that until the very end, Pekora never betrayed her.....

a sure way to top this one is for Botan to join at the last minute. imagine this, they all team up bc Pekora backstabbed them, they destroy Pekora's base, and at the last minute Botan Join, Pekora gives her bunch of gun, they team up, then just started one shotting everybody, also their everyones base too. that is sure way to top ithis, but they can Top this even without Botan, by building more stories, Backstabbed, and Plot twist.

It really writes itself. The finale was amazing because of Pekora and her super-base, yes, but there were so many random moments throughout the season that were just completely coincidence and were amazing. Best game they've ever played for content.

I feel like Ame made a poor choices. She wanted to be in her tower and snipe people, but only got Zeta. Then she spent the rest of her stream getting pulled away by Kiara and Calli. Then when Ame finally decides she is going to go join the fight at Pekobase, the war already ended and she just ends up shooting peaceful people who are confused why she attacked them. And ultimately her demolition derby wasnt even used.

Iirc, pekora threw the note to zeta, zeta tried to pick it up but her inventory was full so it fell back and Pekora then picked it back up in fears of anyone else doing it and reading it. Later zeta was looting one of Pekora's corpse for ammo and took the note by mistake and she went to put it back but just as she hovered over the button, she closed the panel because for some reason. It's only after the war ended that she realized she still had that note and decided to read it.

I really liked the Holomems reaction on how tough raiding Pekora's Base actually is especially the anti-air turrets which Suisei had to dive in very close to Pekora's Base eventually dying because of the traps bit still to no avail as they were easily destroyed. They only got in when all of the gun turrets are downed and cleared up the landmines around it but still didn't able to find where Pekora's TC is.

Betray them & transform into final boss The raid is failing, no one can touch her & she's just camping inside? Go out & infiltrate them/torch their forward base, even if it kills her They still can't find her TC & time's up? She willingly joins them in destroying her base to let them have it. She's a ruthless player, but she's also a really good sport & perfect entertainer. And for those wondering, THIS was her plan all along. Miko really has became a better player in Rust Season 2 here. For me she's one among the scary player to fight against as an enemy. We can also see Koyori growth as one of the best player compared to season 1. and Pekora's sniping skill is still the best for me. Issue with Botan joining, yes it would be entertaining but if she mostly do PVe and might be alright since most holomems dont usually PVP raid or dont wanna be raided and might get salty if do since she did mention back then her playstyle is a bit more agressive than the others
