Lore r say before current era Sovereign dragons rule over teyvat and currently Archons are rule over teyvat. They are same authority. Neuvi was just say he want to judge all archon because that is his oath and he is literally chief of court. Ei is also the only god we’ve seen in their prime for combat, Barbados was never really a war god, Morax is too old and just wants to retire, and nahida is too young, but Ei was the general of Inazumas armies before the calamity and then became the nations archon, but froze herself in time, so her abilities haven’t faded at all, which is why she’s my favorite and inazuma is my favorite, it’s the first time we see a gods might at its peak

I think Inazuma’s archon quest has good standalone moments, but fails to sustain itself as an overall narrative. I’m glad to see you enjoyed it though :)

I think Inazuma was too ambitious, tried to fit in too many plotlines and absolutely fell apart writing wise at the end. It should’ve been given 5 acts to work through all the storyline and build tension. I felt nothing when Teppei died other than “Aw, that sucks”. The premise of the quest was solid, but I don’t think I’ll ever forget how poorly written it was at the end... which is a shame because all it needed was more time :’) This is all my opinion ofc, I’m glad you enjoyed it

The true archon died and left the warrior to rule she separated her consciousness and relinquished her body to an AI she created. The AI was deceived into thinking the visions were counter to eternity by the fatui through politics. The traveler wakes her from this dream and she sees the outside world and has a change of hear. Ei is by far the the most frightening archon and I'd say probably the most combat effective.

I loved the Inazuma arc but the thing that disappointed me is that everyone just seems to go back to being their happy selves after Ei abolishes the vision hunt decree. In my opinion, it would be more interesting if hoyoverse let hanging consequences just linger even after the traveller is finished with the arc. The people of Inazuma should still be angry about the deaths the decree caused. I mean yeah we see some of them are still scared of her but there has to be a group of people who are working to prevent something like the decree from happening again; and that takes action against the Raiden Shogun.

understandable but i feel like taking action after the fact kind of defeats the purpose of having her abolish it in the first place (not even mentioning the fact that she’s a whole archon). and besides, there was still unresolved tension with kokomi and the resistance that required a meeting with kujou sara to talk about how they were going to make peace and coexist peacefully despite their differences. overall i personally feel like it was handled pretty well.

The sakoku decree remained until the second story quest, and the first is dealing with the aftermath within ei, the god who fought for 500 years against the puppet thanks to her unwavering will. As others have said almost nobody was affected by the changes except for vision wielders so what exactly was going to happen
