Totally agree. It is the only scene in Genshin Impact that made me cry. I went through the entire story of Fontaine in several hours and when it come to that point it is so immersive and emotional. In my opinion, the story of Fontaine is the best story in Genshin Impact by far, and the death of Focalors is defintely one of the most important contributors.

Unlike other cutscenes, the tense situation is happening all the time, and all (almost) are completely active, and all active ones can be seen fighting unlike the resistance vs shogunate, who has an army in fight, but 2-3 are having viewer’s attention (and this cutscene shows us many characters’ abilities and how strong they are, not only in playable versions), so chasm escape cutscene will be my best (for now)

People who played GI after 2.7 can never fathom the power of Xiao's cutscene. It was the first time HYV introduced close-to-death scenario to a playable character. It was a major upheaval in the game storyline and players may notice from then on storyline gets more and more tragic everyday. Although Focalors farewell is sad, it's predictable for old player since this kind of build-up has been set up long since Xiao's one.

Bro, the Childe vs the Narwal is extremely underrated. Do you know that just because of getting it off from Childe caused all that; from preventing NEUVILLITE; from preventing it; to devour his people; with just a physical attack? Childe was preventing the Narwal from reaching Fontaine for 45 days, and if he didn’t leave a minute of these days of preventing him to it; the Narwal was reached Fontaine so early by just opening an abyssal portal to it. That shows how heroic, and how big Childe's role to Fontaine; that by just getting The Narwal rid of Childe; easily just opening an abyssal portal, and do the things that I said before. Not even Neuvillette was able to stop the Narwal till the GOAT Childe came back, and continue what the fate ordered from him to do against the Narwal; without a vision. And after the end of getting the Narwal out from the court; by Childe; he just did the “👎” which means; “To weak!” to Neuvillette, and the Traveler; for not continuing anything from his specific-ordered job; that shows the big gap between Neuvillette, and the Traveler's power to Childe's, and how big his rule to Fontaine that's so underrated. Tbh I wished from Hoyo to make the weird sound that came in “Wrio's Jail;” from the Childe, and the Narwal fight after the end of 4.1 finale cutscene (the start of 4.2 Archon Quest);more clear, and I also wished from Hoyo to show Childe teleporting the abyssal monsters; to the Narwal; by opening an abyssal portal; during it’s fight for it… That’s definitely deserve the 1st slot, in my opinion…

In overall the best cut scene would be this year's Latern Rite in Liyue. I literally got shivers on my whole body... but when it comes for cut scenes from Main Quest Stories. The ones from Fontaine are the best. Especially when You see the Hydro Archon paying the highest price - just to show how muchshe cares and loves her people (to make their wishes too). Even if she had to trick the heavens twice... she always had the people of Fontaine and all people on the 1st place - no matter what would be the price and consequences. I also love the way how Fontiane showed and deacribed "Fate" - showing it in a very complicated way, yet easy to understand.

I agree with most of the placements, although I’d probably replace the diluc cutscene with Nilou’s dance or Rukedevattah’s farwell. My personal favorite cutscene is the one from Xianyun’s story quest where we get to see the siblings together and happy!
