I've never even seen Link's Awakening before, just know a lot of people consider it their favorite, never explained why though. So this mish mash of worlds is a surprise for me and the cute look kind of makes me want to get this. Never owned a Zelda game before, played like 2 minutes of Skyward Sword at Wal-Mart and like 5 minutes of the original on the NES Classic. Genuine surprise and interest for me, definitely want to pick it up.

Looks closer to a Link Between Worlds. I'm sure most people would've loved if they just remastered how it looked in the original, but turning the game on its head for a new art style is a good way to surprise fans and newcomers alike. I was taken aback by it first, but after sitting on it, I love it. Link's Awakening is hands down one of the best Zelda games out there.

The original game was fast paced (as I remember it), mostly due to the reduced screen size of the gameboy, but this version looks a bit slow imo. I hope Nintendo doesn't dumb down the game. On the other hand, here's yet another reason to buy a switch :3
