To be fair, Pate's Spear does mention it being used in "countless battles" despite being a humble spear and his dialogue if you attack him is rather calm and non preocupied so he is bold and unafraid. Even Creighton gets sort of rattled in his 50% HP and aggro for the second time dialogue. I imagine at least one of the reasons Pate isn't a Red Phantom is because he just never tries cheeky invasions.

It May just be because I've only played DS2 so far, but i was watching Creighton the entire time, cause he's just been one of my favorite NPCs. But some things i noticed about him: >2:38 failed a few times but still Estuses at the very edge of Gael's Attack >He threw like, 3 urns, missed all of them. >Rarely whiffed an Attack unless Gael moved away or Creighton got slapped >Survived both rounds like a Chad
