Spamton is such an enigmatic character. He’s simultaneously funny with his wacky speech gimmicks, janky design, over-enthusiastic personality, and his whole ‘salesman’ gig. Yet he’s also a really tragic character. Abandoned and desperate for freedom. He’s also an evil and horrible person. Willing to aid in genocide just to gain an upper hand. It’s so strange how Toby was able to not just make these traits work for him, but blend it in a way that feels incredibly seamless. While I do think he’s a bit overrated, I can totally see the appeal with this guy. He’s just a fun character to meme, joke about, theorize about, all types of things.

Toby Fox is who inspired me to start making music. So it’s really cool to get a glimpse of how he makes his songs. I wonder if he just uses base instruments first?
