Sage Naruto's in Storm Generations is just perfect, I get extremely irritated to think that they cut so many cool combos from him. Obito from the 4th war without the white mask also had such a badass Awakening, although I understand they removed these colossal awakenings, I think they should at least do a rework on Obito's Awakening just like they did with Madara and Hashirama. Mecha Naruto should have that 4 tails mode back too.

You can tell CC2 put so much love going from Storm 1 into Storm 2 because almost every characters' movesets look like they evolved by being faster, flashier, and more complicated. They really dropped the ball after Generations and now they straight up don't care about the series.

Storm 3 still had soul. While they did start scaling back features by removing the 4th combo, they delivered with the best story mode in the series + the instant awakening system with awakening actions. I just wish they had kept trying to improve the series in major ways. After Storm 3, they stagnated.

My guess is that the fault lies with Bandai ( the publisher ) even after they joined with Namco. During the 2010 they were 4 Storm games. Generation and Revolution were nothing more then money printer so they could capitalized more on the HUGE popularity Naruto:Shippuden had in the 2010...

Bandai has pulled the plug on connections. They sold this game as a $60 to $100 game to fans Then cut out 5 chars and made them season pass to make another $30. And they remove so much content from the game. Now that connections is dead on steam and pc, there will be no season 2 pass. The gameplay would never be fixed. The online will always be laggy. Bandai is such an awful company. One of the worse publishers ever

They took away side combos first, then tilts and chakra shuriken, jutsu selection. Very lazy and dumb. Some of them were very good and it made characters way more interesting. I have just seen they finally added kurenai. Connections should’ve came with a ton of new people and dlc should be multiple people at a time especially with how basic movesets are now. Some tilts were a characters momentum or something very good. Also gotta love all the a.I. dubbing they did

Up to this point i do think they are doing it on purpose maybe they grew to hate Naruto with time they remove so much for each charcter they don't revisit any of the past they don't give character the move set they deserve (Jugo Nd Konan showed Jutsus in the show far more impresive from what they stuck with) They change many gamplay mechanics (add and remove others without from a game to another) harming the overall gamplay The story mode who only grew smaller with each game And the worst part we know they are able to make a good game from Naruto series like Demon Slayer Hinokami Chronicals the gameplay of game was inspired by the Storm games but it was improved the right way and balenced in few updates with free DLC (at first) It seems very clear they have no intentions on making a good Storm game (it's been 3 or 4 games their creativity and original ideas dropped significantly) The best option is to drop the Storm formula for a knew form of Fighting games for the Naruto franchise

Ok so (sorry for coming on here again but i can go on and on with this rant-) (Also lot's of reading so if you're reading im sorry-) What i have noticed that Bandai could do: 1. Make a load of characters boruto and naruto shippuden: (shikadai, chocho, metal lee, and adult konohamaru) Some of these characters already have some sort of made adult konohamaru and shikadai. Plus some characters all the way from storm 1 like shizune and many more. Also add all the kage supports back in. 2. USE THE OLD VOICELINES FROM THE PREVIOUS GAMES! If the voicelines don't sound good. Just put the old ones in and call it a day less voice actors. 3. Sidetilt and the second jutsu: here is the thing sidetilt can be added. And the charged shurikens don't have to be removed. They could have kept it. Instead they could've you the triggers. Let me explain: i don't ever think that the triggers ever had an actual job in the game. (Not to what i recall) SO. Whag they can do instead of trying to use two buttons for jutsus. You can switch between jutsu in mid attacking or in anyway. And they can make jutsus specifically and i think the iconic sexy harem jutsu for Naruto and konohamaru AND THE PERSON CAN PICK THE FIRST JUTSU AND SECOND JUTSU! ALSO THEY DON'T HAVE TO GET RID OF SIDETILTS!! (That's what i was thinking) 4.Awakens:Some characters genuinely have awakens like PTS choji butterfly mode. Also sasuke first curse mark form. Including Sasuke's susanoo from storm 3 the one we barely see anymore and they add that exact susanoo to ITACHI HE DOESNT HAVE A PERFECT SUSANOO. The susanoo from storm 3. Also let baryon mode Naruto be it's own character slot not a damn awakening. (Cause there is a difference.) 5. Bring back the old locations for fights like the samurai bridge just to bring the nostalgia and to honor all the storm games and get new players to play with them. 6. Add more fights to history mode. And more cutscenes than damn pictures. Like lee vs Gaara and Gaara vs Sasuke and many more. Also: NO MORE DLC'S THE GAME IS 60 BUCKS IM NOT PAYING FOR ANYTHING ELSE ADD TH. CHARACTERS TO THE ACTUAL GAME AND THE MODES TO THE ACTUAL GAME BANDAI I KNOW YOU WANT MONEY BUT 60 BUCKS FOR A GAME IS EXPENSIVE. Y'all can talk about online mode but it's garbage. If Bandai did all theses changes or even try to do them I'll change my mind on Storm Connections but until then Storm Connections is 3/10 (Even though i haven't played it)

CC2 Motto with every New Storm game: "One step forward, two steps back". 🤦🏻‍♂️🤷🏻‍♂️ For me Naruto Storm Connections it doesn’t feels like a new Storm game at all, they changed only a few buttons commands and nothing more, the fact that they removed Tilts and they put the tilts moves on the second jutsus it's pretty lame, disappointing and lackluster, this game feels more like an update DLC than like an actual New Storm Game. But honestly, for me Storm 1 will remain the most Unique one from the series and the closest to the anime itself because of the very dynamic gameplay features, my reasons: Intro of characters before the encounter, unique jutsus that didn't came back to the other Storm games, longer and diverse movesets for almost any character, Awakenings in Storm 1 have also Ultimate Jutsus, Jutsus Clashes and Wall Fighting... and I can go on and on to state it why Storm 1 gameplay was the most unique one from the Storm Series, just try to Imagine Storm 4 gameplay with Storm 1 gameplay features, In my opinion that will be the Perfect Storm game. The First Storm game has the most Unique gameplay features perspective and the particular presentation of the game was so ahead of it's time in my opinion, the only downside of the first Storm game was the very lacking Story Mode Interactions, and from Storm 3 the developers cut and shortned the movesets of characters, that's why I don't agree with their choices. (By the way, my favourite Storm games and I will put them in my personal order will be: 1.Naruto Ultimate Ninja Storm 1 and Generations. (these have my favourite vibe and charm of the anime itself because of the dynamic gameplay features) 2. Naruto Ultimate Ninja Storm 2( for the unique Story and some Unique Boss Battles and let's not forget that Iconic "Calm Before the Storm" OST from the Characters Selection Screen and many more diverse soundtracks) 3. Naruto Ultimate Ninja Storm 3 Full Burst (Because of the more well-rounded diverse Story Perspective and very epic Boss Battles and also the soundtrack "Outside Konoha" and others soundtracks as well) 4. Naruto Ultimate Ninja Storm 4 (mostly because of the unique option to change/switch between your characters team during the fight, this particular option mechanics should've been already in the game from the very first Storm game in my opinion) 5. Naruto Ultimate Ninja Storm Revolution (because of the abused and annoying Counter mechanic) 🤷🏻‍♂️

I can actually defend CC here. All Naruto storm 1-2 combos especially for naruto were using tons of shadow clones, which were temporary new characters on area. They could be hella glitching due to fact that in NSUNSC we have WAY but WAY more faster playstyle, so those new entities could be too much game breaking and could lead to many online crashes, Storm 1-2 were in generaly way slower than NSUNS3+ and had way smaller characters rooster, they could make hella long combos there because subs were not that easy to use like in NSUNS3+ and none of those characters yet required such fast playstyle and switching between characters during fight.

Didn’t most of the adult characters from Storm 1 (Kakashi, Guy, the Sannin, Kabuto, Itachi and Kisame) also have unique movesets that didn’t transfer over to the later games? Or am I misremembering? It’s been so long, but I’m pretty sure they were all reworked for Storm 2, and they never looked back.

Yes you are correct! I simply did put them in because I thought the video would be much longer, come to think of it I regret not putting their combos as well 😔

If theres anything that i want from any of thses characters is that all of the storm 1 and 2 characters need to be revamped in terms of their moveset. They are so outdated and theyve been the same for YEARS. Playing characters like the 3 legendary sannin feel so underwhelming.
