My resale story….broke single Mom, sometimes no heat, lights etc. Opened a resale store and worked my #ss off for 10 years to slowly build. Added eBay to the mix. Continued to grow and added a second location. Built a great income. IT’S HARD WORK and you have to be up for that!!! 30 years later still going.

What I took from this pep talk is that my execution lacks because I run out of steam and I need to put my business before most things I have to do for the day. When I run out of steam, my business is what suffers the most. I need to start my day earlier and up my listing goal. I started reselling slow. You said one time that no one grew as slow as you. I thought about that and realized Pro sports players don’t become pros overnight. I have spent over a year studying and implementing and watching what effects it will have on my business. Within 1 year I saw 43% growth from when I started. I’m about to come out of the minor league, push the gas pedal down and prepare for the pro’s.

I needed to hear this today. A few years ago I was tinkering w/ eBay. 3 years ago I had a stroke and things changed. I am lucky with my stroke but my brain is messed up. I am certain I can make eBay to my primal income. I am currently not able to join group but I do watch every free video. I need ignore the haters and do and increase listings and income. My store is less than 150 but I’m top rated. I worked hard to bring it up because recovery time I screwed up a lot regarding inventory and canceled sales. I also have a Poshmark store with a larger amount of listings. Posh gets all items bought inventory. eBay I’m selective and put higher priced items. Mostly because I was listing limited for awhile. Your videos have been encouraging and educational all with a no bs standard. I love that. I appreciate you ! I believe me doing the things I saw you do saved my store and will provide for a growth that I can handle. Thank you for helping me even tho you don’t know me

Currently working a full time job and listing 10 a day, I started listening to your podcasts with Chris last year and since then I have redone my whole eBay store 5 times deleting hundreds of ads at a time and made them better each time. I was about to give up one of my niches until you told us to start doing research, I went from making $2-4 per item to listing them for up to $1000 and making hundreds. Putting all the information you share to use and doing the work everyday is bringing in good results and has helped me get through when I’ve been struggling and wanting to quit eBay. Now that I’m keeping track of my numbers I’m looking to join the group this year because there is so much more for me to learn which will help me get my eBay to where I want it to be and make it my full time job. Super appreciative of the time and effort you put into these videos. My shout for burgers and expired chocolate if you’re ever in Australia, I owe you that much at least. As I mentioned in the group I'm currently on assignment as a wildland fire support driver. Can't really run an eBay business with an inventory that is 400 miles away. But I do have downtime here that I can put to use watching these videos. Great locker room pep talk! Execution ... it's the hardest part but I keep working on it. I'm retired and doing this part time. It's hard in the sense that I don't need to do this monetarily, it helps a lot, but I don't NEED it. Thank you Tech. I know my lack of consistency and action are my issue. I struggle with procrasti- learning and procrasti-planning 😢 My ADHD is fire 🔥 and I love shifting attention to new information constantly. How would you balance learning about reselling and actually working as a reseller? How did you manage your time with reselling alone, parenting and starting another business (landscaping). I see reselling as a temp thing I grow so I pick up business/operations skills in order to start my forever business lol 😂 How did you study how to run a landscaping business while running a business that requires constant training and research. Im all over the place trying to stay fit, manage mental health, parent teens, become a reseller and study business/marketing/tech 😅 I end up binge watching KZbin and that’s not helping. I live in St Petersburg 🎉and it was so cool to see you in town at Curated Heat!!! Thanks again for such great information

My biggest piece of advice for people just starting out in the reselling world is to do as much research as you possibly can for like six months BEFORE you even start listing items. Do your research, every single day, immerse yourself in all the information that’s out there, because I guarantee any question that you come on here and start asking has already been answered 5000 times somewhere online, you just have to take the time to do the research. THEN start listing things. You wouldn’t invest money in the stock market on day 1 knowing absolutely nothing about the stock market and how to invest. You would spend time learning and researching before. Good luck out there!

My sucky moment came yesterday when I went to a local library book/dvd/cd sale and it was packed, I knew I’d find some gems and I was looking forward to it all week - I had to take my grandson and I’m still rehabbing my foot (major surgery last month). I did find some. I used to keep a productivity log book and this video is going to get me back to it. My listing goal was 5/day, I’m going to list 10/day by Aug 1. And I just contacted my university that I enrolled in for an entry level psych course, to get into a masters program as I already have my degree. Reselling is my side hustle and my hobby and it’s mostly enjoyable - but yesterday almost made me quit. Thank you for the uplifting reminder video that I can and will be great at this. EXECUTION 👍🏼
