You buy Lattice with real money. You can then convert that into the blue currency to buy skins or purple to progress the battle pass. The reason they are different is its 2 different tracks of monetization.

It’s because they made the skin based mvp animations end in 2d artworks that blend from the 3d model. That single choice forces this mechanic to work that way. Otherwise the character would animate the full mvp then the final shot would snap to the image and it wouldn’t look at all like the skin.

That Thor skin is based on the outfit Thor used when he came back from Ragnarok. (And what he used in the Siege Event). And the artist at the time was Oliver Copiel. And man, he is my favorite Thor artist. And as a big Thor fan, that costume is just so freaking cool. I now hope Sentry joins this game so I can battle him as Thor with this armor. Lol. This is all just perfection. The wings the cape design and the hair. I can't wait.
