Seriously. She's probably my favorite character in all of fiction. Fell in love with her immediately when I read her backstory. The manipulation she had to go through as a child hit me way too close to home, and it's frightening how accurately they depicted the sort of thing I had to go through growing up. Whenever I hear anyone slander that character it ticks me off, but I'm glad she's appearing in more stuff now. New Mutants movie really frustrated me with their depiction, and I'm glad that the depiction didn't ruin the character's reputation.

Unrelated but I was playing as jeff and a venom on the enemy team was chasing me down relentlessly on the yggddrasil convergence gamemode. He hunted me so far away from the objective that I ended up stopping, I didnt attack, gave the sideways shuffle-shuffle. He stopped, he didn't attack. We just stared at eachother for a good few seconds... Then slowly just went back to the objective in unison like two besties, or the classic big guy little guy dynamic 😂 then we went back to brawling. Most wholesome moment I ever had. I'm glad to see how many people are correcting your idea of Magik mains. Me personally, I genuinely just really love her character in the comics. When I read about her backstory and the way they portrayed an abusive childhood and the effects it had on her character, it hit a little too close to home. And when I read that, I was able to connect with her on a level far greater than any other character in the Marvel universe. Fortunately for me, I was never trafficked as her backstory implies, but I definitely had a Belasco in my life growing up, and the ways he manipulated her and how she reacted to it as a child who really didn't know any better was scarily accurate to my own experience. That, combined with her having some of my absolute favorite powers made it feel like the character was made for me. There was just no shot that I would main anyone else. Also, I understand that hardly anyone knows the character like I do, but it makes me so angry whenever people just like her for her looks, especially knowing that her backstory is literally an allegory for child trafficking and abuse. I'm not gonna hold that against you, cuz, as I said before, I know most people just do not know much about her, but it is a serious annoyance for me, and I just wish more people would take the time to actually learn about the character.

@@baconsir1159 A genuinely good Iron Fist is a menace, his Dragon Defense skill can parry just about anything so you can shrug off a lot of powerful bursts with is, and no other hero has the potential to chase a swinging Spiderman across the map and keep pace other than, well, another Spiderman. Bad Iron Fist players just get mileage out of crutch hero design that other bad players don't know how to shut down. Some heroes don't really have the tools unless your aim is godly, but if you're a hero without the tools you should have an ally in the backline with you that does and they should be helping you. The amount of games where I've watched a Mantis not save their Adam with a sedate on the Iron Fist is crazy.

As a venom main, I have seen the type you talk about and I almost always make then retreat because the way I play venom is I wait on the front lines for a support/dualist to overextend or leave there team, then I dive bomb and rip them apart, and then I run back to my supports. As a Namor, what you said is kinda true when I first played, but over time the turretspuses become an after thought because the Trident does great damage, also really good at getting flying characters. I'm a Cloak and Dagger main, and you are so right... most look at Dagger for um reasons, but I use her for her healing teammates and bubble when I'm almost dead as Cloak (and sometimes she's useful at a range). And his abilities aren't even difficult to understand, people just dont want to learn them. : ) I love this game and this character, but no one else seems too

@@Garrett195 idk what u r talking about, storms damage is the worst in the game, her damage falloff is the worst in the game, she is not a DPS in any way, all she does is make her teammates more powerful. so i would go like 50 assists or something and steam roll with her, but actually being the sole DPS is like not possible. u r talking about getting last kill after everyone got the hp down. Storms damage is the worst in the game period. thats a objective fact. he damage is equal to that of a tank. The mere fact u ignored the broken part of the kit which is the damage boost of teammates and being anti dive proves my point that u don't understand her kit. she is a strategist not a DPS

I'm not a Storm main, but I think people massively over hate her gameplay. Her damage output is deceptively high when you look at how she hits grouped up enemies rather than in 1v1's and her ULT is absurdly OP. The only times I haven't squad wiped with her ult is when I used it at a bad time or when it was too late to not get shot.
